We celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied and multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.

The Clark County courthouse is a few blocks from Freemont Street (Glitter Gultch),

old Las Vegas, so I took a stroll down memory lane.....so to speak.

During the day it is much different without the glitz of neon flashing.

They imploded the Alladin Hotel & Casino in April 1998,

but saved the lamp icon

for example: I was there in 19--, or ....I met my spouse there, we were there for our honeymoon, I got divorced there, I won $ there, I lost $$$$$ there........etc

Everyone has a little child inside, and it’s so refreshing for the soul to let it go for a while... I like to buy some cute stuff from time to time, give it a name, hang it or put it on my bed, decorate my table with it... just have fun with a very simple way :)

Then when some kids from the family visit us, I give them some stuff to make them happy :)

Today while I was in the bus, I saw a lot of teddy bears were presented out of a toys shop, so I said: “I’ve got to get that bear !!!”...

So I did !! :))

When I get back home, Ma looked at me like this O_O and said: “What . Is . THAT ????” ....

“Ma !!!... it’s a bear !!! :D”....

“Where are you going to put it ??? ... There is no place left !!!”...

So you can imagine how my room look like !!! :))

So, if you really want to let the child go.... go and buy a bear..... or what ever you like !! :))

He reminds me of someone, does he remind you of someone ?? .... hmmmm, I think he just need a cap and he will be perfect !!!! :))

Yeah, you know who you are !!! :D

This mural, located inside Union Market, was painted in 2016 by internationally renowned street artist Mr. Brainwash, in collaboration with former First Lady Michelle Obama to celebrate International Women’s Day with Let Girls Learn, an initiative to help adolescent girls worldwide attend and complete school.

Our Lucy Dog had a stroke and we couldn't save her last week. Lucy Dog, we love you and miss you and look forward to seeing you again in the next world. I know you're up there playing with Gracie and Cosmo and Spotty and Hermione and all those who have gone before. Thank you for the love and joy you gave us and for the happy memories we will always treasure.

Arthur, was one of the very first JSO members that I saw, met, & talked to outside the stage entrance prior to a concert here in Phoenix, AZ on 8 Dec 2005

Arthur seized the opportunity, grabed my camera & took a photo of me with Nadia, Agnes, & Suzan, for which I'll be forever grateful.

The photo Arthur took adorns the front of my JSO photo T-Shirt, which I've work to subsequent Andre Rieu concerts.

Arthur thinking Andre was asking the entire orchestra to stand, also stood up, looked around, realized his mistake, & quickly sat back down with a silly grin on his face.

Renate wants traditional folk songs & gets 1/2 the orchestra to go along with her. In the end, Renate wins out & Manoe join together in a vocal of "Heidi" with entire orchestra & audience joining. This is the very best, THE CLASSIC, all time BEST - antics of JSO musicans
