Till the wee hours of the morning till the sun breaks through and you need to go from champagne to coffee to keep going!
Life is definitely short for blossoms! The top bloom is fresh but the one below is only a day or two older and already the petals are curling as it starts to age. Both blooms are beautiful as they go through these phases. Celebrate the little things in life every day.

I have only had one other cactus I wasn't sure I would be able to keep it alive in this northern hemisphere but it seems to be ok and it grew some flowers.

Plastic is so useful, functional - an everyday substance that we are urged not to use!
I've always thought of it as "use once and throw away" not something to be treasured and kept.
But these are my favourite Christmas baubles - I love them and use them in my photography whenever I can. And they are made of plastic!
