I've done so many things in my life that I feel I've taken for granted. SO many events that people only hear about, or read about. I've done the senior trip to Cancun, Mexico; I did a College Spring Break to South Padre Island; I've been to Paris, Italy, NYC (3or4 times), New Jersy, Chicago, Yellowstone, Concerts, worked at a summer camp, I was a Live 8, I've been to the X Games, good lord. My question to myself is....are the memories really as good the actual events, which makes me think that the events weren't that good, but I know they were...i dunno...

便便看書,很顯然是家學淵源......

Lunchtime life drawing session at work. 90 seconds, done with zen brush app on iPad (using a 1 pixel brush). I like the way the pen bleeds when i stop moving the stylus - it has a bit of a felt marker feel.

This piece belongs to the Harmony of Life collection, which renders artistically the HARMONY between Man and Nature in new shapes and finishing. It demonstrates environmental concerns while at once underscoring their role in the origin of LIFE. The Flow of Life represents motherhood as the basic link in the chain of life. This mother is rocked by the sea waves, proudly admiring her little child on her lap. Their gazes express a unique and special bond with no need for further explanations in words. Limited edition with 500 units.

Dedicated to my precious sister Wendy. I love you very much. After a long cold winter, renew your spirit in the country air.

Back in January we had a medical emergency in my residence hall. The official version was that a student had severe alcohol poisoning and had to be transported to the medical center. The unofficial version was that a Nyquil+Beer high went bad. That was probably a very expensive high.

The response was quite impressive, we had a truck from Prescott fire, a police car, a K9 and campus safety.

Her path will be long and difficult, often lonely, but she’s going to be alright.

I just want to say that I am not trying to offend anyone with these signs. Personally, I just don't like to see a billboard like this pushing someone's point of view down my throat. I am always so aware of these when I am travelling in Colorado and Nebraska. I wanted to share them with you, not make a political statement.

Life goes on even when the trouble is bigger than the solution.

Just keep going and never give up becouse, life goes on.

There is at least one bright spot in having come to Texas. Ready access to one of my favorite beers.

I discovered Shiner Bock back in the dimly lit pre-internet '90's when I came to San Antonio the first time.

These days you can get it up in Virginia and maybe even some places north of that. But there's nothing like knowing the bottle you're drinking came from just down the road.

Sorry my last several posts have been downers - we're just a bit exhausted from this "adventure". Keeping things in perspective - there are so many people who would gladly trade places with us, even given our less than perfect circumstances. After all, I have a really great job, we have a roof over our heads, and no one is sick or injured. So many people we have been exposed to over the last several weeks can't say that - particularly the ones we left behind at the hotel.

So I'm happy to have one of my favorite brews, and I am looking forward to touring the brewery at some point in the near future. Hefting one tonight to life and happiness, and keeping it all in perspective.
