Tide pools at Natural Bridges in Santa Cruz. Awesome! Been there a million times but I never had an awesome waterproof camera. This was really fun...seeing the creatures from a whole new POV
The fields near us all clipped after haymaking. Loads of fine clipped grass fragments blew in our window. Smells heavenly.

By Erik. These Sandhill Cranes were milling about in the morning sun on the flanks of Summer Lake. These large birds can have a wingspan up to seven feet. They mate for life.

This took off in the farmers field about .10th of a mile from our house, then it went right above our heads about 40ft. above us. It was pretty neat to see! The boys were loving it! Tyler got a little freaked out by the fire that's how close it was but still was loving it.
City of Hope’s National Professional Salon Industry Spirit of Life Award Gala had more than 850 salon industry executives and supporters in attendance on July 12, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay, in Las Vegas to honor Harlan Kirschner, President of The Kirschner Group, Inc. “Celebrating Cures”, the theme for this year’s event, celebrated the hope of a cure for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The evening was a celebration with a joint cocktail reception with the Professional Beauty Association, unique silent auction, MINI Cooper giveaway and a special performance by Grammy winner Michael Bolton. To date, the “Celebrating Cures” campaign has raised more than $850,000 for City of Hope.
