Following the June 4th DePriest Puppet show, we hosted a Puppet themed Exploratorium!

New Brickton Library started life as the Lego 10224 Town Hall set. It has been remodeled and revamped to serve as the town's library. The design is based on the idea that it is one of many Carnegie Endowment Libraries, and features a working time piece in the upper facade.

Chaser spent a lovely afternoon hanging out in the SCC LIbrary. She explored the stacks, read her favorite book, did some research online, and found the study rooms!

Nitsana Lazarus brought her amazing show Puppet Commotion back to the library. The kids loved all of the different puppets and the audience participation.

Another to add to my colllection of library signs.... That is the cathedral right in front of me, but you do need to walk left, as it is up a hill. The library is next door.

While stopping by the library to pick up some books, I thought I would also drop off the last of the cakes and candle street art pieces for fellow book lovers to find. Now wondering what street art I should make next...

School children join in the fun to celebrate National Bookstart Day

The Young Adults had a Winter Party and it finished off with a Texas Snowball Fight with socks full of flour.

Rattle and Rhyme with Brenda meets from 10:10 to 11:00am on the following Mondays: January 10 and 31, February 7 and 28, March 7 and 21, April 4 and 18, and May 2nd.
