Making trips to the library with my little one is one of my favorite Mother/Daughter things to do.

We'll pick out our books and then read a short story together there before coming home with our wares.

I love the crispy sound that the plastic book covers make. :)

My husband dropped me off at the library in a neighboring town for abut an hour while he took the kids shopping for a Mother's Day present for me on Saturday. Unbeknownst to us, closing time was 3 minutes after I was dropped off. By the time I discovered this, my ride was gone. I ended up walking around taking pictures-- such as the dogwood posted yesterday.

This picture came out blurry because it was still on macro, so I played with it.

The Library has a fresh new look and we celebrated by inviting friends to an Open House so everyone could get a peek at the changes.
