Yours truly wearing Senior Letter Jacket for--what else?--NJROTC. CHS school colors were Navy blue, Columbia Blue, and White. I am wearing NRA shooting patches, and a gold USMC pin (I still let people think I wanted to go Marines, but I think I'd pretty well decided on Navy by this point--and my first few days at TAMU in the Corps of Cadets sealed that decision firmly.)

This started well, until old age caught up with the insulation in my dear old router, and it burned out (that's a very characteristic smell, which I remember well from repairing pumps). So, on our way over to see the goats, we stopped in Axminster and I picked up a new router: more than double the power of the old one, a great deal easier to steer, and about the same price after twenty years - not bad going, I thought.
