A nostalgic, warm and yet charming invitation set. Great project developed in collaboration with office mate and art director Jeff Perky, Perky Bros LLC (Nashville).

Door lettering and graphics is one of the quickest ways to brand your place of business and let your customers know key information such as store hours or your company tagline.
from M Parker's library: "look at the rich blacks!" esteemed as the most gorgeously printed book ever (poorly photographed here), from post war Germany. Zapf did all lettering. i've forgotten the punch cutter's name. bad form.
Went to the workshop with John Downer at Cooper Union over the weekend. Slightly frustrating, very humbling...
This image really shows the extent of improvement that my masking skills have had. This project really made me think about the balance in a photo and the type of effect I wanted the masking to create on each of the words.
Each design element was hand painted in London, England.
