Oh, and I see that's maybe the camera strap in the picture too. That camera strap has been very good to me, and I'm glad to see a picture of it.
Edit: Oh you know what, I've decided that's my other friend, the lens cap.

La centrale thermique de Vitry-sur-Seine a été mise en service entre 1966 et 1971. Sa fermeture est planifiée pour 2015.

There are parts of Amsterdam that looks like you are in Venice. This scene of Amsterdam gives you a view behind the houses of the Red Light District. On the left you can see some of the red light coming out of the windows, reflecting on the house on the other side.

This camera was given to me by a local older lady whose husband did photography as a hobby as well as medical photography for his job.He had not used it for well over 20 years so they felt it deserved a better home.
Her husband was the second owner.The original owner was Austin Armer, the person who came up with the term stereophonic and invented stereophonic reproduction.
There is still a label on the top of the case with the letter A on top.
this is my 18-105's lens cap i was just bored a few days ago and well while waiting for my teacher wanted to test my creativity. I always wanted a Nikon wallpaper but never really found one on the internet so i figured i'd just make my own. out of like 15 takes i ended up with this shot though i had to crop it a bit cause there was just too much space before. so basically this is my lens cap on a wooden table with natural light coming in through the window blinds.
Busy, Busy, Busy... and even too busy socializing to pull out the camera tonight. But, as I drove home, I spotted this blooming patch of daffodils (the ones that have distracted me on those curves every spring!) and had to stop and shoot.
So I layed in the sticks, again... as neighbors drove by, surely shaking their heads, or figuring I was a tourist, until they saw my well weathered Subaru parked just ahead!
Realising that there's a focusing problem with my 35mm lens, and thus beginning an attempt to get Sigma to fix it.
A bird's nest that fell of the tree after heavy winds blew at night. Luckily the young ones had left much before that. Canon lens cap for size hint.

This photo was shot RAW, I don't like raw, it seems like it's a waste of space, I didn't notice any advantages of using RAW over shooting in straight JPEG.
Plus it's a pain in the ass to get my D40 to work with Aperture, I have to download a script that changes some data in the EXIF to trick Aperture in to thinking that the pictures are coming from a D70. Get busy on this Apple.
Its 2011! This is my first upload of the year, taken with my 1.8 50mm. It's the first time I have ever used an aperture below 3.5, so it was really good experimenting with all the different options I now have. Yes, the subject could be more interesting, but the lighting was really dark and I used the floor to steady the camera.
