Yes, I am now a proud owner of a Nikon D3100, my first DSLR. I have much to learn, but already am having a bast! I even got a Nikon bag with the package...guess that makes me a NiKON snob now? tehehehe

3/365- This photo has a ton of meaning to it. The shirt represents my love of clothing, the ipod represents my love for music and lady antebellum, which is one of my two favorite bands, is playing. The paris notebook represents my love for travel. the one direction photo is my love for one direction. my lens cap is for photography. the sun glasses means where i live. and the sticky notes say keegan allen and pretty little liars on them but they also mean my orginization obsessions. and the harry potter book is my all time favorite series and i adore it.
I decided to do this picture because photography makes my mind go crazy. I'm constantly thinking of my next picture, my next model, etc. Photography turns my world upside down... what can I say

I just bought a 18mm prime lens for 50 euros. It's a tiny lens made by Funleader. It's meant to have fun, but the pictures are surprisingly good.
this was found in the national botanical gardens. the mist jets had just gone off...kinda funny to see everybody rush to get their lenscaps back on.
Macro shot of my dedicated near IR canon powershot a630. with the 720 nm pass filter. Interesting note the filter adapter for this camera came bent slightly out of round to to repair the filter threads I forced a UV filter onto the slightly bent tube to give me good threads for the expensive IR pass filters. and to protect the threads on the new UV filter since it is now removable I added a captive lenscap to the camera ( it is sitting on the cap )
What prompted the IR conversion was that the flash worked intermittently, and as I just purchased a T3i DSLR I had no use for a point and shoot anymore. upon dis-assembly I removed the IR cut filter and found the short in the flash so I repaired the flash and tested it out using a piece of exposed film for an IR pass filter. with the results confirming the functionality I then ordered a A640/a630 filter adapter tube, since the 630 has a bayonet mount for accessories.
I also have a 900nm ir pass filter but have not had much of a chance to use this set up yet due to the changing seasons and a lack of greens to set the white balance to.
Oh, and I see that's maybe the camera strap in the picture too. That camera strap has been very good to me, and I'm glad to see a picture of it.
Edit: Oh you know what, I've decided that's my other friend, the lens cap.

There are parts of Amsterdam that looks like you are in Venice. This scene of Amsterdam gives you a view behind the houses of the Red Light District. On the left you can see some of the red light coming out of the windows, reflecting on the house on the other side.
1950 Rolleiflex X camera with original case, original mirror finish metal lenscaps, closeup lens with original box, case and instructions, soft focus filter green filter and lens hood all also with original cases.
This camera was given to me by a local older lady whose husband did photography as a hobby as well as medical photography for his job.He had not used it for well over 20 years so they felt it deserved a better home.
Her husband was the second owner. The original owner was Austin Armer, the person who came up with the term stereophonic and invented stereophonic reproduction.
There is still a label on the top of the case with the letter A on top.
