Just got the Canon EF 100mm f2.8L Macro IS USM lens just testing her out.
No adjustments made to this photo it looked good enough to me as is.

Hey Soul Sister by Train
Hey, hey
Your lipstick stains on the front lobe of my left side brains
I knew I wouldn't forget you, and so I went and let you blow my mind
Your sweet moonbeam, the smell of you in every single dream I dream
I knew when we collided, you're the one I have decided who's one of my kind
Hey soul sister, ain't the Mr. Mister on the radio, stereo, the way you move ain't fair, you know!
Hey soul sister, I don't want to miss a single thing you do...tonight
Hey, hey
Just in time, I'm so glad you have a one-track mind like me
You gave my life direction, a game show love connection we can't deny
I'm so obsessed, my heart is bound to beat right out my untrimmed chest
I believe in you, like a virgin, you're Madonna, and I'm always gonna wanna blow your mind
Hey soul sister, ain't that Mr. Mister on the radio, stereo, the way you move ain't fair, you know!
Hey soul sister, I don't want to miss a single thing you do...tonight
The way you can't cut a rug, watching you's the only drug I need
You're so gangsta, I'm so thug, you're the only one I'm dreaming of
You see, I can be myself now finally, in fact there's nothing I can't be
I want the world to see you be with me
Hey soul sister, ain't that Mr. Mister on the radio, stereo, the way you move ain't fair, you know!
Hey soul sister, I don't want to miss a single thing you do tonight,
Hey soul sister, I don't want to miss a single thing you do...tonight
Hey, hey
Tonight
Hey, hey

Suitcases rock!
I wanted to get one for all my camera-stuff including my laptop and stuck with a PELI. I think the #1550. It has plenty of room for my 350D incl. handgrip, the 40D incl. handgrip, 18-55 mm, 55-200 mm, 50 mm, 20 mm, 10 mm Fisheye plus plenty of batteries, CF-Cards, the recharger for the batteries, filters etc. pp. And my 12" Thinkpad + power supply fit too.
Some other benefits: Its watertight, crushproof (google to find a video where some maniac drives over a PELI-Case with his Landrover Defender), dust proof, swims with ~20 kg weight in it and well: its somewhere near indestructible which is really nice to know.
See notes for what i put where into mine.
I've never considered myself a "fanboy", but I'm enthused by the quality of gear that fujifilm are producing. I think I'm just getting impatient waiting for my X-T1 & 56mm pre-order....

#055/365 - Lensdop
Laat 'm er niet op zitten.

Don't let it sit on it.
I am always dropping my lens caps....this time I was quick enough to catch it.
More 50mm fun. Shot under fluorescent lighting and came out looking cold. I raised the temp before converting it to jpeg from RAW. Outside of that there has been no post processing.
Just a lens cap? Well yes, but this is the first try of a macro photo. This was taken with a Leica 60mm Elmarit macro lens from the R-Series. And it seems to work on a Canon body.
why is it that I find embarrassing videos of myself and i'm all: Let's put that on the internet!
anyway, here we are in our natural state. Drinking wine in the jardin de luxembourg in Paris.
Canon AE-1 film SLR with hooded 50mm prime lens, piggyback mounted on Celestron telescope tube, for wide-field tracking astrophotography.
I did it!!
Upgraded to the Canon 7D with the EFS 15-85 mm IS USM lens...WOW!!!
I'll be breaking in my new baby during a trip to Texas next week...can't wait!
Nikon D300 with a AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5~5.6G IF-ED lens and MB-D10 Multi Power Battery Pack/Grip attached.

Housekeeping!
A totally different shot than I planned.
Yesterday I collected some grass seeds to spray with mist and do macro shots, the water just soaked in rather than making nice droplets.
I thought I had one in the bag and went on to clean some lenses and watch photography tutorials, messing about I took this and quite liked it.
Funny how some pictures come about. :)
The lens in all it's glory inside it's box. Front lenscap isn't original as it says Canon (or they didn't have their own lens cap with logo?)

Strobist info:
Shot using a Canon G3 with ST-E2 on top. Canon 430EX2 under the 40D camera aimed at wall, and the 580EX2 attached to the 40D aimed at the shooting camera. The lens is a 70-200mm IS2, at 200mm, obviously with the lenscap off. The strobes were shot E-TTL +2 compensation, and at a ratio of 1:8. Oh yeah, and I held a white paper reflector to reflect some flash back to the subject.

Lovely LX3 in Large
It's been a year now so I count, and
Lately this bummer has begun to mount
Finally, finally did I learn to take off
Remove the lens cap, or pictures
And buddies, they gonna scoff.
Lumix lenscap withdrawal was mastered
And summer welcomed Upgrade 102
Round and lonely lenscap, a poker chip it's not
Please remember that LX3 cost a lot, so
Lenscap goes back, and give it your best shot!
