Machine Learning is the ability of a machine to learn on its own from the past experience. It is a technology that reads and understands raw data and statistics and extracts meaningful insights from this data. This helps solve complex business problems that are data-rich.
A couple weeks back my newest lens, the Nikkor 18-200mm VR, arrived but I had little time to play with it. Five days later my new camera, the Fuji S5 Pro came but even the camera sat for a few days until I had time to pick up the proper flash card. Finally a night came when I could take both downtown to see what they could do. First, I was amazed to see how close this lens would let me get to a subject. The above is a tinier-than-usual geranium blossom found in a flower box in the Haymarket.
Then I tried it out for distance and put its anti-vibration capabilities to the test...
Learning Route on Natural Resources Management and Climate Change Adaptation best practices covered several districts in Kenya. The event was organized by Procasur with the support of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
The objective was to scale up through peer to peer learning the Kenyan best multi stakeholders’ strategies, tools and practices to fight environmental degradation and to adapt to climate change with the aim of improving the livelihoods of people living in affected territories.

Our Active Learning Classroom (ALC) is designed to support interactive and technology enhanced learning. It serves as an incubation space where faculty can implement and assess new teaching and learning ideas.
The classroom is capable of numerous configurations; with computer stations at each table and multiple wall-mounted screens. The purpose of the ALC is to offer active, engaged teaching and learning experiences in a collaborative environment.
Our Grants for Kids grants continue to provide support for local schools and summertime programs. A 2013 Learning Links grant allowed Milford High School students to work on a photography project with clients of City Gospel Mission.
The mission of the St. Paul’s Service Learning Program is to form students into life-long agents of compassion through meaningful service, honest reflection, and sound instruction.

This is part of a photo shoot for a not for profit organization for documenting their innovative methods for teaching and learning in a school for under-privileged girls - the main focus of teaching method is encouraging children to tackle problems through group analysis and discussion instead of handed down learning. The class rooms are redesigned so that groups of girls face each other. The subject teachers are trained to introduce the topics but thereafter take a less active role,; mainly acting as a facilitator to the students in finding their answers through a dialectic process
