Ludlowville Union school is a great abandoned site. Its so much more visible with the leaves off the trees. There's a rather haunting look to the place, I'd say.

Its great that I always have a good camera on me with the phone. I should have had my DSLR with me when out but I didn't feel up to bringing it.

A walk out on the pier with my gear was a nice break for me. We're about ready to turn the corner from winter to spring here.

This is another shot pulled from the archives. I hope you like.

A Common House Finch perched at the top of a bare tree.

It was hard to get a photo with so much mist blowing toward the bridge and path. The water was flowing with such strength. These conditions occurred a lot this winter, it was strange not seeing much snow and ice.

This abandoned lot has a view of the sunsets. I didn't get the color version to come out like I intended so I added this creative touch.

An uneventful day for taking shots for me, but quite happy with prints and framing of some of my pics! Have a great weekend guys!

Polaroid SX-70 (SLR670s)/ round-frame color 600 film

Boulder, Colorado. The light was special -- sunset light on the trees with a dark cloud as a backdrop.

I was greeted by this after working a crazy day on Christmas Eve. With all the commercial lighting and decorations around, this looked even better to me.

Many of the good spots are closed off for the winter. There was a cold wind and I wasn't up for a long hike anyway. We sure have gotten enough precipitation this year.

This small farm has been for sale. The house and barn look to be very old. I'm sure someone will want to fix this barn up a bit, even if it isn't used for farming.

Took this shot while out yesterday in Stirlingshire with my friend. Was going to leave it as a colour shot, but the difference is quite small, so went for a sort of high key b&w. How many sheep can you count?

Have a great Wednesday!

We were blessed by having wonderful sightings of the sunrise every morning. Can you hear the chaco chachalaca and undulated tinamous calling?

Many thanks for your comments, faves, and follows :)

This time of year I can see the sunrises and sunsets on my commutes. The views really open up just outside of the area's towns. I am always compelled to look for the next photo opportunity.

Long exposure shot of a river foam flowing downstream.

A whirlpool of foam looks like a miniature hurricane.

I haven't walked the lower trail at Taughannock in years. It was so worth it. A warm rain on the way back was way nicer than the snow we've been getting for months.

Another dreary, stormy day made for bad conditions. I turned my attention to subjects right in front of me. Simplifying ended up being a good thing for me to do.

I was out a little before sunset and liked the cloud formations. I took photos at this time in case the clouds completely covered the sun for the rest of the day.

We have to weather a lot of storms. This is true both environmentally and in life. Storms pass, color and light return. To anyone struggling with anything, press on.

Colours of twilight, reflected on the surface of a lake in New Delhi, India

Firtly I took a shot of a sunset with my Olmypus OM10 camera using Tokina SD lens 70mm, then I was so uninspired what to take next so i decided to leave my camera lying around for some time. One morning it decided to snow all of a sudden! So i could not not bring my camera! So I took it with me on my day and this is the result. Its a shame that the film kind of clashed and didn't get rewind in the proper way :-/ I guess my camera is getting a little bit old :-/

Anyway what do you think? :)

Six Mile Creek at Mulholland Wildflower Preserve has a nice trail. On this spring day the water was really flowing. I should go back and see if flowers are actually blooming yet.

The combination of evergreen trees behind the tall deciduous trees with their lacy and leafless branches in our local park created a fantastic scene! It just proves that even on a cold day with little colour available, one can still get some great photos. It's one of my own favourites!

I used to live right near the main entrance of Watkins Glen State Park. It made it quite convenient to get photos throughout the year.

This is Six Mile Creek at the Mulholland Wildflower Preserve.

I used my Nikon DSLR for this one. It takes more work than the phone camera and I only post my best shots, of course.

I can get to this spot just in time for autumn and winter sunsets. It's away from traffic and up high enough to see the area well. The light snow helped the landscape look great.
