To use these actions, open up the Photoshop action menu (window-> actions) and with a photo opened
and selected in the layers panel, select an action and click the play triangle!

Made using Anna Maria's pattern, Lingering Layers Skirt in Handmade Beginnings. I'm not pregnant (right now) so I made regular cotton panels in front and back, but only put elastic in the back b/c I liked that it lays flat in the front (though it could use some stabilizer) and later I'll put in a stretchy panel. I could not, for the life of me, get the ruffle to hang properly so I made up my own variation on it. The fabric is a vintage print--I only had 1.5 yards (the pattern calls for 2) and managed to get all the pieces cut on the bias with some to spare!
Wish I had more pictures but I had to pack the skirt away while we're traveling.

This layering effect of mountains was what I have always dreamt of capturing. The crisscrossing of the lines to meet at the valleys and the foreground and background perspective created by the mist make for an interesting effect.

I was completely blown away by how diverse the HCM trail was as we went down it. From jungle to crops to abandoned houses there was never a moment we weren't wowed at the start of our trip.
It was pretty good, I don't really love buttercream icing, so I would only give the overall recipe a 7.5 out of 10. Chocolate sponge was lovely and moist, which I would make again with a different icing.

Got up at 5am with my husband.... to feed him, kiss him goodbye and wish him a good week!!!!
Next point on my agenda was to get myself an espresso to keep me awake and then..... before my eyes, this poppy popped its pyjamas and unfolded layer upon layer of a frilly silken petal-skirt. The light behind it is my table lamp which added a sunny glow to the ballet, taking place at 6.15am! What a blessed beginning of this Indian Summer Day!
