Kim shared two textures with us, Veil and Flourish. I used both textures on this image of my BFF (Best Feline Friend).
Proof that if you bang your head against the table long enough, you will eventually figure out layers.
Band-aid anyone?
This set of photos aim to capture the myriad of moods of the ocean, by focusing on the layered landscapes of land, sea, horizon and sky. It is intentionally minimal in character, and features like waves and misty islands are intrustions demonstrating the 'found' and unmeditated nature of the photography.

This dress is made of a wonderful vintage fabric. It's seafoam green with flocked swiss dots and scalloped edging. The top layer is sheer and it's lined with a green polka-dot fabric. The dress has beaded shoulder straps and snap closures. Seams are fray checked.
This is a 2 piece set and comes with dress & pink fur wrap.

Looking towards a line of trees on a hilltop near Chicklade, Wiltshire.
I broke one of my rules for this photo which suggests that the best photo can seldom be taken from the position one first sees the subject. This might be the exception that proves the rule; I took this from the driving seat of my car (while parked in a lay-by) although I may have got more pleasing results if I'd crossed the road and taken my time with the composition.
I love the area around Battersea Power Station, focussing on the building itself. There's something so defiant about it. The fact that it has been disused for years, but nobody can bring themselves to pull it down, is testament to its lasting power.
Early in the morning the light is actually the most beautiful and so this is often a great moment to take pictures. During the trekking through the Annapurna, we got up early a few times to go outside. We enjoyed the light, which revealed itself more and more, creating an atmospheric image of the surrounding area. From the lodge in Tadapani we looked over a valley, hills and mountains were behind it. As it was becoming lighter, the entire image changed, from a dark shadow into layers which increasingly changed from color .. Nature can be incredibly beautiful...
The ruins of St. Botolph's Priory in Colchester, with a later church in the distance. We regularly walk right along this wall/fence on our way into the town centre.
Definitely better large.
