This particular wall has (starting from the top layer:
* Cream-painted woodchip wallpaper
* Green-painted woodchip wallpaper
* A layer of white paint on top of
* A darkish green wallpaper with hand-drawn-style stripes
* Kitchen wallpaper
* Delicate multicoloured-patches wallpaper with a sort of network of white lines & blobs (50s?)
* Blue paint directly on (lime) plaster
It's taking a while to clear all this, so I'm exploring the layers at the same time. The green paint is hell - it's all horrible and plasticky and ghastly to try to remove.
GENERALI PAN EUROPE MEATH SPRING HALF MARATHON - Organised and held at Bohermeen AC - Co. Meath on 4th March 2012.
The race was run on a two loop course with over 700 hundred taking part. The weather was fine, cold, and dry - but there was a nasty wind on some parts of the course.

I'm still weeks behind in going through my photos from our trip around Oregon in July, but I'm trying desperately to get caught up, and get out to take more photos! We found this interesting farm along the old Columbia Gorge Highway. It appeared abandoned, but extremely charming. Old barns, grass blowing in the constant wind, barb-wire... Maybe I tried to capture too much here, but I still liked the setting very much.

Since Brian (smugmugged) reminded me that I haven't posted anything in while, I decided I would upload another shot from the same storm earlier last week. I liked this one because of the three distinct layers that you can see.
This piece by Duncan Rawlinson features a blend of rippling lines and soft gradients, creating an intricate composition that draws the viewer in. Its interplay of colors and textures makes it a striking choice for spaces looking for modern yet timeless artwork.
Beyond Layers - {Day 27 ~ 1 Photo - 3 Different Ways}
In the Beyond Layers course, the challenge for Day 27 was to take 1 Photo and process it in 3 Different Ways, using textures, layer masks, and adjustment layers. Here are my 3 versions...my littlest grandson.
p.s. - I didn't have to pose him for this shot, he just loves the basketball. And if his brother and Dad are shooting baskets, he will play with the ball for hours. Did I mention he is only 14 months old?
Our stop in the Badlands of South Dakota allowed us to get of view of the earth's beautiful colors and formations.
After a walk in the surroundings of the summerhouse..to the town of Fugslev.....we had some coffee and layer cake.....inside the layer cake was raspberry and cream and on top of it was whipped cream and chocolatepieces.....very tasty
