Yes, my colored ink cartridges are running low. And I thought it would be a good time to go back to my Monochrome Series.
Layers, layers and more layers. This is how these rocks formations are made... and what a wonderful seascape! Look at the colours of these rocks, they are amazingly beautiful! This is one of the wonders of Asturias, a magical land in Spain.
A view looking to the south at the Yellow Mounds Overlook. While the day prior had been overcast with off and on drizzling rain, this day was amazing and brought out more vibrant colors in that early morning sunlight. Here I decided to catch a view looking across that prairie grass to the noted yellow mounds and then badlands off in the distance. The blues of the skies would then be that color contrast to complete the image for this landscape in South Dakota.

The Layers within and Angle of the cliff here really caught my eye.

So, this may not look like much to you but for me it means a lot. I am experimenting now with layers and taking multiple of the same pics and layering on top of each other.... Hopefully I can get the layers right so at the end it will look better.
I used these two, really good, youtube videos to help me through this learning experience.
The Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays, Manchester. This shot appealed to me because in it are elements of the interior of the building, its exterior form, and the environment in which it stands...all layered on top of each other.

Early morning in the Ogwen valley, waiting for sunrise. The real view is actually in the other direction along to Llynnau Mymbyr but one of my fellow togs kindly pointed out the lone tree, and we all know you can't beat alone tree with a sharp stick.(That probably counts as self harm!)
So the music for this evening has absolutely nothing to do with this image but it's worth a listen.
