Hey there! Yes, I'm still alive. Also still taking pictures, just not having enough time to edit and share them. Another internship is what keeps me busy.

Anyways, I hope everyone's having a good weekend :)

This is from the archives. Something a little different than the spring flowers and DC shots i have been posting lately. I also can't wait to get back up there soon.

Layers for me always makes me think of Photoshop, each layer has its own charm and colour, it’s a great theme, as there are endless things to choose from, as evident from the amazing images in the group...

I love the curls around the center!

Thanks to the Macro Mondays Vegetable theme, we will be enjoying a warm pot of potato leek soup tonight. Perfect for the -26F windchill. HMM!

As we lay drying after a swim I noticed the unplanned design of layers of different colours and textures, reminding me of rock strata - so I took the pic without changing anything (Shell Bay, Dorset, UK).

Shell Bay on the south side of Poole Harbour is a beautiful beach on the Purbeck nature reserve. The headland is quite a walk from the Sandbanks Ferry to the north and Studland Village to the west and has for years been a popular (but still unofficial*) clothes-optional area.

Published in "Outdoor Lighting Nudes" by Cathy Joseph with a description of the background ideas and use of available light.

* since the photo was originally posted it has become recognised as a naturist area.

This photo was archived in Aug. 2023 but now returned to public view by request.

A new version of the spontaneous shot taken before this as she lay down next to me on the sand has now been limited to Patreon guest-viewing to prevent stolen copies being posted elsewhere.

Without sea stacks or even coastal rocks to fill the foreground, it was time to go scouting. Lines in the sand left after a rainy day reminded me of layer cake at Heceta Beach, Oregon
