I have wanted to play with layering shades of transparent colors and gradients. I just couldn't think how to accomplish this. There are so many options in the blending mode.
I know there are a few errors in the shading, but at least I have the thought process started!
I have wanted to take this picture for years. I drive past this spot from the Hopi Indian reservation to Winslow Arizona. It is on the Navajo Indian reservation. It is always a long trip to where we are going, I never have my camera, its not the right time, yada yada yada... Well finally here it is! I take my children on daddy dates. This time they wanted to rockhound some place south. Driving back we pulled of the road, followed a dirt road for a couple of miles, hiked 3/4 of a mile to get to the right hill, then waited an hour or so. And it was a glorious ending to a perfect day! Gods creation is beyond imagination. This is a 40 picture stack taken freehand.

The Great Orme is a limestone headland on the north coast of Wales. Seen here from the Island of Anglesey with Ynys Moelfre in the mid ground. The winter air was clear and crisp, enough to see the building and communication tower on the summit. Compressing the distance with a long lens made the headlands appear to be stacked.
Many layers of historic Fenway Park, in use by the Red Sox since 1912, are seen along Lansdowne Street behind its famed Green Monster. Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
