Siona had the honor of being chosen to represent GRPS as one of six third graders chosen to speak at GRAM (Grand Rapids Art Museum) on May 15, 2013.
Ten members of the Spanish Language Debate Society traveled to Bogotá, Colombia, for the world championships of debate in Spanish, CMUDE 2015.

Acadia's English Language program operated a summer school for newcomer families from the Middle East and Africa.
VIRTLANTIS is a free resource and open community of practice for language learners and teachers in the virtual world of Second Life®. We offer free informal language learning activities for a growing number of languages including English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese, etc. All of our activities are offered free of charge by volunteer language teachers and/or native speakers.
Everyone is welcome to offer a language activity at VIRTLANTIS. We provide free resources and ongoing support. We also collaborate with and promote other language communities in Second Life.
In addition to our main island and the various social meeting points at Knowingly, we have additional locations which can be used when needed.

Painting about language overload. The letters are more obvious in real life and in a second photo I'm going to upload.
This church always has something funky posted on their marquee. When I saw this and the reference to "Language" I had to stop and get a picture since the theme for the DILO this month is "words"
Of course as I as backing out I ran over the sidewalk and i felt a rumble, the sky turned dark and just as i pulled out of the lot.. a bolt of lightening hit the very spot i was parked on. I think it has something to do with my bumper stickers that read "The Goddess is not a Single Mother" and "Oh Great Spirit Protect us for today is a good day to die"
