The owners have young children so required areas of level lawn to allow them to play. They also required a large deck area to barbecue and entertain. These photos show the finished garden after the terracing work is complete. After the retaining walls were constructed, the ground was raised to the new levels with topsoil and a new lawn laid. A large deck at the lower end of the garden provides an ample entertaining area and raisning the shed also allows easy access. A small amount of planting along the left side adds to the interest without creating too much maintenance. The design was carried out by www.postalgardendesign.co.uk and the build by www.wyldlandscapes.co.uk
We were fortunate enough to work with the pool builder to incorporate our landscape design ideas into this beautiful grotto / slide area. The entire project covered all of our landscape design expertise such as: project management, landscape lighting, irrigation, paver driveway and walkway, brick fence / columns, new sod, drainage system, aluminum fencing and shrub / tree planting.
