www.landscape-design-advisor.com - This 2d landscape plan was created with realistic architectural symbols from 2d Landscape Architecture. The resort swimming pool is illustrated in full-color using Photoshop and the landscape palette software. A variety of custom swimming pool designs are included with the software, as well as water texture maps to create a completely unique layout. Outdoor furniture symbols, patio and grass textures, and tree and shrub symbols are also used in this 2d landscape plan.

Bring a naturally chiseled look to your patio using a Claremont Wall. Other products shown: Grand Flagstone and 34" Column Cap

These photos show the construction of the garden using vertical round timber poles set in concrete to create the visible retaining walls. Sleepers provided the steps and hidden retaining walls. A significant repair tothe existing fence had to be done as the tree surgeons who initially installed the fence really did not have a clue how to build a fence! Tree stumps were also a factor as the garden had several trees removed prior to this work being carried out. The design for the garden was done by www.postalgardendesign.co.uk and the build was carried out by www.wyldlandscapes.co.uk.

This pergola was designed for the fruit garden on a New Jersey property. My clients and I refer to the garden as 'The Berry Patch' even though it includes grapes, rhubarb and other non berry items. The vines have thrived and standing within the pergola is like being in a magical, secret hideaway.

Two Running Violet V Forms by Robert Irwin in the Eucalyptus Grove at the University of California, San Diego.

Irwin's work since 1970 has been situational art, responding to the scenario with light and phenomenon. Here in this grove, Irwin creates a datum with chain link fence and stainless steel poles. The grid interacts with the grove planting and the chain link changes in your perception throughout the day, and by the angle and side which you're viewing the sculpture.

How to give up a wonderful swim in the pool!

Another true horizontal plane, this one has a skimming surface of water through bubbler fountains that draw you in. The water coming through the spouts manages to hold a very tight bubble shape; the tension of the surface is riveting, but you have to get wet to get close!
