Seen in my housing estate. I was surprised, 'cos I first time saw the variety of lilac with two-colour leaves :)

Kwitnący bez wypatrzony na moim osiedlu. Byłam zaskoczona, bo pierwszy raz widziałam odmianę bzu z kolorowymi liśćmi :)

Their smell is amazing. I brought 4 vases of these into our house and the whole house is alive with this wonderful fragrance.

This month the theme was chosen by Jette, who has chosen "Low Angle and 'L is for..." for the monthly challenge. This is my contribution a low angle shot of a Lilac coloured flower with a liquid raindrop reflecting the flowers around it. I had to lie on the ground to get the low angle required.

Jette, our thoughts are with you.

Back to the 105mm, and a head of lilac in the garden.

This is Syringa vulgaris Andenken an Ludwig Späth, and the scent, as well as the colour, is divine. It also fills my head with memories of my now very distant childhood!

We saw quite a few of these in Botswana, but this was the only one that stood still for a few seconds.

Je suis très étonnée de voir un monarque ce matin...octobre. C'est pas un peu tard pour un départ vers le Mexique. Enfin je souhaite seulement qu'il puisse avoir du temps clément pour sa grande migration. Québec, Québec, Canada. Monarch Butterfly.

Hope everyone has a grand Sunday.

Quuite cold and rainy here.
