Tackling my first big original MOC in fine scale since the Atlantic.

Using a mixture of new techniques from Block Junction MOCs and album stalking, I’m trying hard to get my proportions down without too much compensation for r56 curves. So far it’s promising!

Taketime Island is located in the sunny archipelago, where life is harmonic and relaxing. Here you find a bakery, café and diving club. You might also notice the old sailor staring longingly at the horizon or the beginning romance between the café worker and her customer (or the jealous man spying on them through the window...)

Thanks to everyone who has been supporting my project Bricks & Blooms on LEGO IDEAS. It now has well over 9000 votes and just needs around 600 more to reach its goal of 10,000.

Please spare a few moments to visit the page on LEGO IDEAS and give it your vote.

Just a little something I put together.

For the 5th round of the contest RogueOlympics on www.RogueBricks.de I built a robin. The robin is loved by my mother-in-law, so she also got a copy :D

The whole model is made with 101 parts.

(Right now I am also working on a kingfisher...but with spread wings.

This lifesize model of a blowfish was made for the Iron Forge 2025 competition, where contestants have to use a seed part in creative ways. The seed part for the first round was any of a number of mudguards. One of them, I realised, really looked like a fishes mouth when put together, and that sent me down the pathway of creating this beauty.

More pictures in the album.

It is a modular fish market sized 64x32 studs comprising seven pavilions and few bridges. The market is divided into wet goods and dry goods zone, with shops ranged from fish stalls, flower shop and grocery stores at Ground, and cafe and restaurant on the 1st Floor. Vibrant Coral and Dark Azur are adopted as colour palette of the design. Built with several types of window frames, a huge canopy provides weather proection to the people below. Enjoy shopping and eating with proper distancing!

Watch out for another of Ben 10’s alien transformations! This Tetramand specimen from the planet Khoros, distinguishes himself among the Omnitrix’s DNA entries as a hulking humanoid, with an extra set of eyes, four arms, and super strength!

A non-permanent marker from the real world made it’s way into the Lego world. Unfortunately the maffia got their hands on it and uses it to punish some Lego people. They use it as the starter punishment. How? They just end up crossing the guys’ eyes, forunately it is non-peramnent so it will wipe off in a week.

Second MW entry. Was built in a day and a half. Unfortunately I thought I had a black permanenent marker at home, but I didn’t. Would have made a better story...

Welcome my fellow zombies, vampiric royalty and monstrous beasts,

I am glad you all have found your way to this rather remote place. I took even me several hours to find this splendid little castle in this giant forest and I just visited it yesterday. I think the struggle was quite worth it, though as this is the perfect location for our little Halloween celebration, hosted by Mr. Grievous and me. I hope you enjoy the decorations and treats. It wasn’t even too hard to get it to look like this, as much of the decoration came with the place, when I bought it. The skeletons for example have not been altered or moved and most of the, admittedly large, spiders around here are actually alive and well. In addition Mr. Grievous managed to acquire a surprisingly lively set of furniture, to give the look the finishing touch and is eager to meet you in the library, where he will have a little horror literature reading session. Now, enjoy the pumpkin spice lattes and liquorish treats as well as our very special blood red punch, about which’s ingredients I can only speculate.

Have a happy Halloween, everyone!

Happy Halloween, everyone! This year, my good friend Mr. Grievous and me actually managed to pull of a little Halloween themed build and had a lot of fun taking photos of it! Make sure to take a look at his photo stream to see the second part of it!

Built for SHIPtember 2024, as a direct counterpart to my 2022 SHIP, Entropy. Both of these were done in a single speedrun build session, roughly in the same amount of time, on the last Friday of September. For Syntropy, I wanted to make a complete inversion or opposite of Entropy.

The model is 108 studs long.

Sixth and last entry for the actual castle contest "Nine Kingdoms - Blades of Light" on "www.RogueBricks.de"

This one shows a fight in a one of the cities of Kurvenheim, a land of the Nine Kingdoms.

(For this one I had 3 hours. Building onder pressure isn't my thing if you want to to it really good, with a lot of details, but I am happy that I made it anyway.

Tried incorporating various types of tree builds so that it really looks like a luscious forest. Personal favorite of mine is the big pine tree!

Final submission for Iron Forge 2023, round 1. The seed part is any minifigure sword. I used lots and lots of them (44 if i counted right) to create a little garden cottage.

I`m only like a month late from NieR: Automata`s one year anniversary, not a big deal.

After having perished long ago, very little was recorded of this assassin’s place in our own history. However, after Takanuva traversed the multiverse he preserved the journey in chronicle. On a world rife with tryanny, he spoke of such a warrior -

“As one of only a few surviving loyal members of the secretive Dark Hunters, Karku fought alongside various rebellious factions against the domineering Tuyet and the Toa Empire’s oppressive control. Only by using the combined powers of Speed and Regeneration had this enforcer managed to stay alive for so long in the twisted dystopian timeline.”

Hi friends,

It’s been a while since my last build came out. Fortunately I have managed to regain my old passion for building and here I am again.

Today I have a great pleasure to show you my newest project from „The Witcher” universe. It’s a scene from a brand new trailer of The Witcher IV game, where Ciri is going to be the protagonist of the main plot.

I hope that you’ll all enjoy it as much as I did while making this MOC.

I keep my fingers crossed for @cdprojektred to make their newest game as good as they did with Witcher III or even better.

I also wanted to thank my friends who made me sure that it’s a high time to come back and do what I love. You’re the best.

I created my own personal tribute to Fritz Lang's film trying to represent the iconic poster. This idea was born for a contest in a Facebook group and it earned me second place! The most complex part was spacing the various elements on the 16x16 stud size limit knowing that I would then have to photograph everything from a very specific angle. To represent Maria, the robot that appears in the poster, I used C-3PO whose design draws inspiration from Lang's work.

Nice entry. In fact, you did so well I’m going to note this on your file in the commendations section. Oh, there’s lots of room here.

My 6th build in my Iron Builder round against @tim_goddard928 using Door 2 x 4 x 6 Curved Aircraft in White. tinyurl.com/ymupx28m

Attention, troopers! This is Admiral Tarkin with new orders. The chancellor has voiced his concern over the new threats arising in the Dathomir system. A malicious group known as Night Sisters has repeatedly interfered with our military expeditions. Reports show that this group and its members utilize unordinary weaponry and something that, in lack of a better expression, could be described as sorcery. While you are familiar with the dubious ways of the Jedi already, their abilities might be even more absurd. In consensus with the chancellor, my research team and I have decided that a live subject is needed for further research into this matter. Your mission is to acquire a suitable subject in an assault on one of the Night Sitster’s lairs on Dathomir. The Jedi are not to be informed of this assignment and will have no part in this operation. I will personally lead the attack. Our assault will be swift and precise. Failure is unacceptable.

TEMPESTWEAVER, THE SUMMONER OF STORMS.

(Clash of the Deep series Pt. 7)

This is the seventh post of a series I built for the #Janubewary challenge hosted by @bricksandfables over on Instagram! The second arc of my series focuses on the villainous Krakenfolk who begin to terrorize the seas and all their inhabitants. The second of these is Tempestweaver!

The Atlantean had spent days scouring for the Black Coral Cove. It was rumored this accursed cove was the home to a sea witch called Tempestweaver, whose rituals and dark sorcery had increased storm activity by tenfold in the area. Supposedly, she was connected to a number of other individuals that had been tormenting the ocean and coastal areas. He was almost ready to call off his search, when remembered it: there was a rumor that the nefarious krakenfolk had come to their world from a portal deep underwater. If that was the case, could it be..?

The sea-elf pondered if the sea Witch had indeed come from his homeland, the ancient city under the waves, ruined for ages. If that were the case, he might be able to track her. The Atlantean found a soft spot of sand to relax and closed his eyes, focusing his energy. Clear as day, there was a signature, not more than a day's swim from here. He gathered up his gear, and set off.

The archipelago that the cove was hidden in suddenly didn't seem like such a labyrinth. There were clear silhouettes to the islands, and each shone with a sense of proximity to the aura he was tracing. If there was something—or someone—from the old world around, he could certainly find her. The skies overhead had begun to darken, and the waves grew choppier by the minute. Nevertheless, he persevered. By the time he found the cove, he could hear a song, impish and cruel. The voice spoke of ships sinking to the bottom of the sea as some sort of sacrifices. Finally, he saw her. A mass of purple, glimmering tentacles floated around her in the water as tendrils and armor of gold decorated her upper half. She channeled her magic through a staff that looked ancient, and he realized she must've somehow unearthed it in the ruins whence she came.

"You are in possession of something that doesn't belong to you. Something that ought to be buried, along with you. Surrender it now, and I may let you live," called the Atlantean, his trident aimed readily at her center of mass.

"Ah, is that so? The little lost boy whose kingdom now knows nothing but death... promises me life?" she replied, her voice like that of a siren who'd dropped their facade. "A deal that offers me nothing, truly, as you aren't wont to spare my life anyways. I've heard your tales... The winds whisper to me that you are merciless in your pursuit of relics. What is it that you hope to protect in keeping them all out of reach? It isn't as if there's anyone left alive to miss them."

The sea-elf, enraged, hurled his trident with all his force at her. It would've hit, too, if she weren't somehow a mirage. "Coward!" He called. "Reveal yourself and fight me! I did not come for trickery and fool's magic." He outstretched his hand, summoning his trident back to him, but felt resistance, as though something had a hold on it.

"No, indeed. That is not why you came. You came to receive a message for you and your allies." Tempestweaver emerged from beneath the water, wielding his trident in one hand and the stolen staff in the other. She began to trace sinister, arcane sigils in the air with them as she continued, "there is no resisting the rise of this world's end. My master is hungry for another world, and I intend to deliver it to him. You and your allies may try in futility, but he shall rise. The day of reckoning shall come, and your world will be cracked by his will, left with naught but water and magma, as its people burn or sink beneath the waves. I suppose you shall have to suffer it a second time. I can see you'll most certainly be trying to stop us. You'll need this, then," she cast aside his trident carelessly in the sand, "I've gotten my use out of it now anyways... See you soon."

The witch plunged into the water below, leaving him alone in the cove. He grabbed for his weapon and lunged into the water after her, but was blinded by ink. Emerging back onto land, he rubbed at his eyes, cleaning out the mess, as rolling thunder shook the walls of the cove. A storm had indeed been kicked up... and it just might end up being one without end.

My seventh and final model for the first round of the Iron Forge. Four seed parts were used, two as the lips, and one for each of the eyes.

This is the main presentation photo.

Very very happy with how this came out, it was a few long nights to get it finished in time.
