Hello all i’m back again for day 4 of vignweek, and i’m here to show of my modern China build, somewhere deep in Shanghai! This came down to the wire to put together so let me know what you think in the comments!
(This is still a WIP, so suggestions are appreciated)
Ever since it was announced awhile back, I have wanted to try making a Mclaren Senna. It has some really complex shapes, and a very "hill-climb" vibe to it.
I started by going through my other car files and seeing which technique best matched the body style, then made a few adjustments. By far the hardest part was the sides, which I am still working on and tweaking.
In the coming weeks, I may post a lot just due to the amount of project ideas I have been saving.
Thanks for Looking!

#TimeForCrab is here! This year we invite all builders across the community and the globe to participate in a month-long open crab collab, spanning June 22 to July 22. The task is simple:
1. Build a crab
2. Post your crab with the tag #timeforcrab
3. Repeat!
All crustaceans are welcome, and your build can be anything recognizably crustacean-inspired. Be it an actual crab, a fantasy crab, a mech, a spaceship, a castle or anything else - just make it vaguely resemble crab! The primary venues of Time for Crab are Flickr and Instagram, but feel free to share your crabs far and wide. Spread the word, and invite your friends to join!
The ambition is to make this an annually recurring month-long open collab, always taking place in this same timeframe. Let's get the ball rolling.
It's Time for Crab!

Hello everyone! This is my entry for the Summer Joust 2024, the 12x12 "Vignette" category.
C&C are welcome!
Armored and agile, the Strydr functions as a forward-attack infantry unit. Armaments include a .50 caliber cannon and rocket pods, all guided by its 360 imaging sensor pods and thermal optic.
Get it, cuz it looks like a water strider.

Tasked to traverse the snow capped world of Krysto by HF Mission Control, Stormer has been sent to rescue a team of trapped Brickonium miners within the crystalized tunnels below the frozen surface. He comes prepared for the cold; equipped with a chain-sledge splitting maul to cut through the ice, a spear gauntlet for any glacial climbing, as well as thermal armor and an extra energy pack to both boost power and longevity to his gear. With the assistance of the rocket research team and their prototype satellite tech to track his way, it’s a race against temperature and time to find the isolated miners and bring them back safely.
Inspired by the absolute force of positivity that is @ben.cossy! As well as other previously similar characters of this concept by @bobthedoctor27, @kutorakh, @datavoltus, and IGU on Flickr!
And a huge thanks again to the profound and wise editing advice of @loafbuilds!

Heavily inspired by Djok's Dr Renaud and Silvak's newest version of his self moc.
Celebrating this year’s Star Wars Day with a moc inspired by the amazing works from @brickerbuilds !!
I was lucky enough last year to meet a few members of their team at the Rhode Island Brick Convention (@brickconvention), and while there, my long time best friend @nate_payne_ got himself one of the greatest sabers of the line up: Obi-Wan’s!
Learning from the construction process was fascinating and I knew I wanted to take a ‘stab’ at it with my own custom hilt design! Taking aspects of some other favorite sabers and putting them together on one that’s themed for a Jedi Knight of the Old Republic era!
Thanks to @aaroncrumbley from Bricker for being so kind and convincing us to stay, chat, and eventually buy such a great model!
[ID-File: CT-4554/1606: Access granted]
Number: CT-4554/1606
Name: Sakana
Rank: Sergeant
Weapons: DC-17m, beskade (mandalorian sword)
Equipment: Katarn armor, macrobinoculars, kama, pauldron
CT-4554/1606, known as Sakana among his comrades, was part of the second wave of clones deployed to fight the separatist forces. Having not fought on Geonosis, Sakana and his battalion had been more carefully deployed, once the Jedi had established a strategic council and a sufficient chain of command. Thus, his battalion suffered fewer losses than others and spent more time on Kamino, before seeing combat. during that time, Sakana was able to participate in joint training sessions with both, the ARC and Commando forces and managed to adopt some of the special techniques offered by the Mandalorian training sergeants. This was also the reason he was later considered for the ARC promotion program, resulting in him earning his own command and adopting specialized ARC gear. His specialities include covered ops and sabotage. His weapons of choice are the Commando battalions DC-16m and a custom made beskade, a Mandalorian steel sword, given to him by one of the Mandalorian training sergeants.
Recently he has been transferred to the 253rd Elite Legion to join forces with other specialized troops in an effort to take out high value separatist targets with minimal losses.

Another render of my new A-wing design, in this case with landing gear and a pilot.
I should have a breakdown of the construction up in a few hours, and any ideas for improvement are welcome!
Thanks for looking!
Didn’t really have a game plan when I started making these. The black one is loosely based on an old Buick, and the green is a hodge podge of reference images. But! Regardless of quirks, they can fill out parking spots well!
My entry for the first round of Rogue Olympics! The theme is "Twilight", and the limitation is a maximum of 101 pieces. I used 99 here.
The scene is inspired by Dark Souls, where the protagonist tries to capture a moment of peace at the Bonfire before heading back out there.
Days spent in the servitude of a Manor Lord, thus is the life of a Serf
Here is yet another attempt to gain some Medieval Building experience. It started with the house, as I was playing around with jutting out the sides to give a more rugged look. The rest just grew from that point, building the plow and wheelbarrow, then deciding to make a layout.
I am fairly happy with the result, but there is some unwanted grain in the photo I will deal with next time. And perhaps next, something a little more......mystical ^^
I also have to give credit to @Simon NH for the door design, and @jsnyder002 for the idea of clear bricks for water. I also want to mention @Patrick B, whom I have found most of my inspiration from as of late. I'm pretty sure most have seen his builds, but here is a link to his newest, just in case :)

I have both cars and more Medieval builds lined up, so I might post again in the next few days.

Entry for the final round of the Star Wars Moc Olympics on the German LUG Imperium der Steine (www.ImperiumDerSteine.de)
“One Movie, one MOC” - that was the task.
There are 8 STAR WARS Movies and each Movie a masterpiece and one-of-a-kind.
The goal of this year’s final round is to catch one movie (episode 1-7, Rogue One) with your MOC.
I decided to catch the newest movie 'Rogue One' in my entry for the last round.
I built the scenes of Jedha, Darth Vader's castle on Mustafar, the Battle at the beach of Scarif and of curse the 'Star Destroyer - ballet' - scene and set them up in a pinball machine. These machines were extremely popular in the time when the first SW movies were on the screens.
The pinball machine works (look for the video) and looks a little bit like the Death Star (OK, at least I tried to :) ).
Hope you like my final entry.
I put one foot in front of the other as carefully as possible. The mighty city of Lessu, once the beating heart of Ryloth, lay silent with the anticipation of the coming storm. Those moments before the battle were always the worst for a soldier. But they were also the last chance for civilians to get out of the firing lines. And that was exactly what the 253rd had come here for: to free and evacuate the Twi’lek hostages before the thunder of the artillery started. So far however, there was not a single pair of Lekku in sight. Instead all I encountered along my way down the spiraling cobblestone stairs of the residential district were crates and crates of marvelously colorful fruits and vegetables that obviously stem form the recent harvest. The pristine condition of the stacks of crates was a testament to the droids’ efficiency. Not a single grape had been spilled when the workers had been snatched form their yards and houses. I activated my comm. „Linx, Bruiser, spotted a sign of our head-tailed friends, yet?“ There was a slight crack of static before Linx’s voice got back to me. „Negative, though I might have spotted a cat…“ Bruiser joined the conversation „Also negative. But have you tried the fruits, yet, Lieutenant? A shame to leave them to the clankers.“ Linx chuckled audibly with amusement. „You know their only diet is oil and batteries.“ „Probably still cheaper than ration cubes.“ „Probably the same ingredients…“ „That’s why I’m always so energetic.“ „Right…“ Suddenly a particular ticking noise broke the silence. „Heads up, squad, hear that? That’s clanker steps, alright.“ I checked the scope of my rifle, aiming down the stairs, just as a shiny metal face peaked around the next sunlit corner. „Gotta feed them some laser bolts then!“ I steadied my aim. „First round’s on the house today.“ And with that I let loose the first round which knocked the unsuspecting droid flat on its back. I heard more metallic footsteps. It was time to serve the main course.

Did I write yet another log with a food metaphor? Anyway, here we go with a new build for the 253rd Legion and a challenging one too. I tried putting in as much detail as possible once more. Let me know what you think!
Part A of my most recent Medieval Village build. Experimented with two different build styles for the roofing structure of the two twin buildings.
This MOC was inspired by the scene from chapter 3 season 1 of The Mandalorian TV show where Mandalorian survivors confront the bounty hunters guild to help Din Djarin escape with Baby Yoda (or The Child) from Nevarro City. It's the first time I ever tried third-party LED lights in a MOC and I think it turned out really well. I'm happy with all the details, especially the big arch/gate and the rockwork, but unfortunately I ran out of some crucial pieces and wasn't able to make the whole MOC as detailed as I wanted. However, it still looks pretty decent I think.
I'm not much of a space builder, but I had a lot of fun making this little fighter ship. I may try to do more in the future.
Thanks for looking!
On a recent trip to the coast, I noticed the many ways in which Land meets Water.
This MOC is an attempt to mimic rockwork as arches using plates. The result was a bowl shaped island which I made into a self sustained island village.
My LEGO model of Detroit's Penobscot Building. The smaller structure to the right is an official LEGO company set called the Corner Cafe which is available at Lego.com. The Corner Cafe set has inspired a number of builders to create similar companion structures in order to form a complete city street scene. Here is my attempt but I think that the Penobscot isn't quite the right building to go with the Corner Cafe;)
This LEGO skyscraper is my tallest model as of 2008.
Overall height: 11 feet (3.35 meters)
Roof height: 9.5 feet (2.9 meters)
Weight: ~180 pounds (~89 kilograms)
The model breaks down into 12 sections for transport.
Finally a new upload on here! I know I've said this on most of my past uploads, but I'm really hoping I can actually stay relatively active on here again. We'll see though, I'll do my best, but I'm quite busy. Anyway, enough of that, on to the build. This is a really old one, like two and a half years old, but I still like it, and it at least shows you guys that I'm not dead. It's actually the second version, the first version was done for a contest on MOCpages and I liked some of what I had originally done so I revisited it soon after the contest. Detail pictures of this one can be found here, with detail pictures of the original version available here.
Hi guys!
Fortunately, my motivation for creating new builds hasn’t faded away yet, so today I am back with another MOC, which was created during last 4 weeks. It is so special for me because it resembles my way that I am now following, in my science, sport and passion career. Also it was good for me to show how I am feeling inside right now by capturing my thoughts with plastic bricks.
That is why I show you a little diorama, which consists of the master practicing even though he accomplished more than anyone in the particular field.
Me and a few other ARC troopers of the 253rd have been ordered to take a little detour back to Kamino before our next mission. Command has ordered us to pass on our knowledge and train the next batch of ARC troopers, that will one day fight beside, if not replace us. I am happy to assist in training. I remember how I was in such a ARC promotion program and thus know what these recruits might be capable of one day. I’ll try my best to teach them well.

Par of my entry for the recruitment challenge of the 253rd Elite Legion. If you have what it takes to become an ARC trooper, build a 16x16 studs vignette, featuring your custom clone sig-fig and tag -TTROOPER-to apply for the group.
Blue Striped House is a U-shaped house inspired by contemporary Scandinavian architecture. Blue, tan and grey stripes. Small windows form irregular patterns and let the sun light create life in the living room, guest bedroom and dining area. All rooms have clean and modern furnishings. The house has three entrances through the living room, kitchen and laundry room. A windling staircase lead to the master bedroom upstairs.
Outside you may notice signs of late summer or early autumn. Brown, green, orange and red colours.
Its chainsaw legs get rid of bushes, trees and other... ...obstacles.

A new mech build inspired by one of my favorite games Horizon: Zero Dawn and the amazing mechs of Nick. I hope you like the build and editing as much as I do.
“As she approached the temple, the brave knight felt an unearthly cold crawl down her spine, spreading across her chain mail like a disease
Before her was a monument of evil, a chapel seemingly older than time itself. So much so, that it appeared as though the rock and stone had grown around the hellish shrine
She looked to the heavens for guidance, a prayer for strength and hope. But her words fell on deaf ears, for not even God himself dared enter these caves…”
My entry to the Subterranean category of the Summer Joust 2022
A few of you may remember that I made an A-wing over a year ago. And I won't say it was bad, just that my building technique has changed quite a bit from that point (Here is a link, if you want to compare).

Now, with a new style, and understanding of both GIMP and Blender, here is a WIP version.
I am still working on my rendering accuracy, trying to achieve that realistic look.
Also thanks to Marius for explaining his after-burner technique, quite simple yet really good. You can see his awesome ships here:

Hello! This is the group shot from my collaboration build with the talented builders dan.ko56 and Vladunov/Dostin. We decided to assemble a race team with two race vehicles and a mobile service ship. Check out their respective posts for more info about their awesome ships :)
The race team is named Magna-Vortex Dynamics. My build is the racing spaceship to the left: The Nebula. Vladimir's build is the middle one: Vision Mark III, a mobile service ship. Dan's build is (ofc) the speeder to the right: Note X.
I will post the single entry post with my spaceship anytime soon. Hope you like the ships!
Thanks again Dan and Vlad for letting me participate in this collab!
Note: Photo editing done by Dan Ko.
Built for the 8th and final round of the 2023 Rogue Olympics.
My wife suggested using the Sailor Moon anime series as a source of inspiration, and we settled on Sailor Pluto's iconic weapon.
Consists of 62 pieces.

THE LICH'S LAIR.
Here we have my third entry into the #halloweenhabitats25 and #letsbuildhalloween2 challenges over on Instagram! Again, continuing the theme of undead D&D enemies, we have a lich in his lair. I tried multiple tile patterns before eventually settling on this one, attempting to convey the grandiose taste of a creature that pursues eternal life/undeath. If there's one thing liches have, it's a flair for the dramatic, right? Collected in the lich's lair, we see a bit of everything, including some of his favorite trinkets, one of his favorite spells, a lovely still-life from one of his favorite artists, his grimoire with his nastiest and most profane magic, and of course, the captured souls of many adventurers which he'll use to one day feed his phylactery! Clearly, he's brought some more with thim, however--I wonder where he'll find the space to store them? As always, for lore: read on!
In the world of D&D, liches are powerful spellcasters who have taken on the mission to learn and conduct dark, unholy rituals that tether their soul permanently to their body, even after death. While their spirits inhabit their bodies, the flesh and its innards continue to rot away, leaving the lich with a rather macabre visage. They often dress themselves in fineries, which convey the quality of enlightenment they tend to claim they've achieved in their abominable state of being. Liches undergo the process of trapping their souls within a vessel known as a phylactery, which they often keep heavily guarded, or even hidden and inconspicuous, to avoid being destroyed by self-righteous heroes. To destroy a lich's phylactery is to destroy its safety net of regenerating after its physical form is slain. Thus, it is left vulnerable, and capable of being extinguished. A lich will fight with all its might to avoid having its broader ambitions cut short by a setback such as being slain again, and will employ devastating magic and traps to deter intruders that would infiltrate its lair.
Koi’s idea with the ray shield did prove to be more effective than any amount of ammunition could have been. With the civilians safely tucked in within the GAR complex, sweeping the droids off the streets was an easy feat. A few EMP grenades and blaster bolts were enough to clear our quadrant and we were called in to regroup with our regiment. Apparently the Seps had managed to place some droid dispensers inside critical GAR facilities, namely a foundry and assembly complex. It was time for more housekeeping.
The LAAT brought us to the entrance of the facility, which was basically a big metal cube with a labyrinth inside. „Just like the Killing House on Kamino.“ I muttered to myself. Koi glanced at me, but said nothing. The other squads advanced into the labyrinth and we followed, blasters raised and ready. You never knew what was waiting behind the next corner. Every few minutes explosions shattered the ground and blaster shots could be heard, all framed by the rhythmic humming of working machines. „100 meters to the first dispenser.“ We entered a large hall. „Awfully hot in here.“, Koi groaned. We could see huge barrels filled with molten steel move along the middle of the hall. „Careful now, you don’t want to end up as Venator alloy.“, I said, as we tip toed our war along the narrow catwalk towards what seemed to be the first droid dispenser. „Contact, 20 meters…“. I raised my DC. „..friendly.“ Koi ended the sentence. A pice of white armor was visible among the different containers. We approached. „Don’t come closer!“ The trooper was still alive, though his leg was spread out in an awkward angle and he was clenching a bit of railing to hold himself up. „It’s alright, Brother, we’re here…“ „Minefield!“ He exclaimed as I set my foot on the ladder to climb down to him. I stopped and switched my visor to infrared. There were in fact dozens of mines placed all over the floor around the droid dispenser and dangerously close to the barrels filled with molten steel. The injured Trooper had squeezed himself right into the little gap between a mine and the wall. „Don’t bother with me. Get out of here. I broke my leg and can’t stand up properly. I’ll trigger a mine, if I do. At least I can take that dispenser with me then.“ „No time for useless heroics! Koi, take care of that dispenser. I’ll call in the medics.“ „I guess no fireworks again?“ „You got it.“ „Shame.“ Koi jumped onto the dispenser. I minimized my energy shield and reached out to the trooper. He grabbed my hand and I pulled him up carefully, as to not trigger any mines nearby. „Medics are on their way. What’s your name?“ „Mag’ro.“ „What happened to your squad?“ „Lost them to a crab droid in quadrant H. That beast chased me all the way to here until I fell from the catwalk and broke my leg. It couldn’t follow me into the minefield, though.“ „You outran a crab droid? Impressive.“ „Not going to do that any time again soon, am I?“ „Your leg’s going to be fine. Koi, status on the dispenser?“ „Fried and steaming.“ The dispenser was indeed sizzling and smoking as Koi was jabbing his energy pike into it repeatedly. „This is really turning into housework.“ „Let’s hope there’s something good for dinner, when we get back.“

A quick build for mission 17.3 of the 253rd Elite Legion. I probably should have tried at a bigger scale, to get more out of the foundry setting. However, I think the action comes across. Also, do I spot a future squad member there?
