Hong Kong Tonglau (Series 2)

Watch out for the new bakery shop around the neighbourhood. The ground level consists of the bakery shop with fresh baked pastry. Sometimes it attracts a lot of hungry passers-by. On the next floor stays an afro-funky guy. He still think he is staying in the retro era with black vinyls and Motown music. Banana is his favourite fruit. He often invites his gang, an exhibitionist who loves garden, Miss aerobic and Miss Gadgetheavy ( they favourite spot is the roof top ). The building behind is a vacant office. You can tell by the newspapers, letters and leaflets flying around.

9 months ago, I built a LEGO replica of the National September 11 Memorial Museum using Stud.io software to improve my rather « ugly » first version. Now, I’ve been able to faithfully reproduce it in real life !

This new 10 times better version is made up of 3000 parts.

The building is lit at night by LEDs. 💡

The visible interior is almost faithful to the museum, and also includes the tridents of the old WTC visible from the outside at the glass facade !

Concerning geometry, big achievement for my part. I’m very proud of this fairly faithful form of the building IRL. The result is sublime with the stripes in « Metallic Silver » color. 📐

There are certainly illegal techniques, but that’s what makes the building so charming.

I had used white flexible tubes to represent the metal beams supporting the glass facade on the 3D model, but however, I didn’t particularly think of doing it again in real life, although it seems quite complex to me. I don’t know if I will do it one day, but it looks very good without. 👍

There are certainly many other details to describe but I will stop here. I sincerely hope that you like this new version, and above all, let’s never forget ! 🙏🇺🇸

This moc represents Aztec temple of Jaguar treasure in south America which Johnny Thunder, Dr. Kilroy and Pippin Reed just discovered in search for the Jaguar Sundisc. For the build I used several building techniques, my favourite being that tree by Dan the Fan . The build was my own idea although I took inspiration for jaguar heads from Mark of Falworth. This was built a few months ago as a part of lego Ideas contest. Still, I hope you like it!

The Vault is a coin bank made of LEGO bricks. It has a secret door that opens in three steps. Only its creator knows the correct sequence. Of course you could smash it on a concrete floor but it would be like blowing up your local bank to make a withdrawal : it is not advisable.

somehow when I was building it, it seemed to take a lot longer than this does ...

Support the iScream Ice Cream set into becoming a Lego Product at the Lego Ideas website. Here's a shortcut:

I scream! You scream! We all scream for ice cream! This set features an ice cream parlor designed by yours truly, RoboXpert. (Btw, you can see my Minifigure from my logo cleaning a table in the building.) This set took me two days to design and has over 1,261 Lego pieces. It has 19 Minifigures, a dog, and a cat.

The first thing you'll notice on the iScream parlor is the iScream sign as well as all the other wonderful detail put into this build. If you look real close, you'll see that those ice cream cones outside are really lights for when night falls. There are tables and chairs seated around the building for those who just have to enjoy their delicious ice cream outside. If you go inside, there is a beautiful floor design where the guests eat/order as well as a nice floor kitchen design for the employees. Of course, it wouldn't be iScream without ice cream, so there are many flavors to try! You truly will scream when you see iScream!

Here is a shot in full light. I work with mostly Taiwanese people, so before starting to build this MOC, I asked them what color the real Taipei 101 building is. Out of about 20 people polled, only 1 person was SURE that it was green. I selected green transparent bricks for the windows to be accurate, and chose sand blue plates for the "metal framing" around the windows. I though sand blue would give the building a "blue feel"

With 1 plate and 1 brick for each floor, this MOC is actually 101 stories tall, and stands about 5 feet 6 inches tall !!! So far, I've used about 7,500 bricks, and since I only have 3 sides finished, I need about 2,500 more bricks to complete it. At a whopping 10,000 bricks, I'm tempted to call it Taipei 10001 instead of Taipei 101 !!! Enjoy the pics everyone.

outside the building fred caught his wife cheating on him with a work college!

Hong Kong Tonglau (Series 2)

A year after its (re)modeling in LEGO on the 3D Stud.io software by BrickLink, it was time to reproduce it in real life !

Here is my faithful replica of the new One World Tarde Center in New York, made up of more than 28,000 LEGO bricks, assembled in more than 60 hours, and illuminated at night with LEDs !

A little bit of history first, One World Trade Center nicknamed “Freedom Tower” and its 541 meters high (1,776 feet, corresponding to the year of the United States Declaration of Independence) is the tallest tower in New York, in the United States and the Western Hemisphere. 🇺🇸

It’s also the most expensive tower in the world, costing nearly $3.9 billion, and is the most technologically advanced and environmentally sustainable skyscraper. 🌟

But now, in LEGO ???

This centerpiece is part of my project consisting of almost faithfully reproducing the new Ground 0 - World Trade Center district in LEGO.

It went through several versions before arriving at this final version which is more geometric, more voluminous and better worked.

Admire these inclined facades !

I won’t be able to describe every detail here since there are a lot, but the main points are :

- More than 28,000 parts.

- The building measures 2.25 m (7.4 ft) with a scale of 1:245 ! 📏

- It includes the almost faithfully reproduced One World Observatory platform as well as all the floors of the tower.

- It’s lit at night with LEDs for the floors, as well as addressable RGB LEDs for the lobby and antenna that can change color individually.💡

I wanted to thank BlueBrixx for providing me with alternative LEGO Trans-Clear plates for the lobby as well as rigid hoses for the metal rings on the roof.

“Now I know, that only love can truly save the world. So I stay, I fight, and I give, for the world I know can be!” - Wonder Woman (2017)

This is my depiction of the English assault on French artillery positions at the Battle of Castillon in 1453. During the battle, which took place in Gascony France, English commander John Talbot would foolishly lead his troops against a French encampment which had been fortified with artillery. Suffering heavy losses from the artillery the smaller English force would lose the battle.

Being my first attempt at using the net technique for terrain there is a small gap at the top, but overall I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

The kingdom had long awaited the king’s return. As he rode through the gates, the people cheered, their hope rekindled.

This castle was my entry to Bricklink Designer Program Serie 5. It has received many kind comments and support, but unfortunately it has not been selected, therefore I decided to make the instructions available here:

As you know I usually build cars, but I love castles as well and therefore I decided to design one to Bricklink Designer Program series 5. It is a grandiose build, made unique by its many Gothic and Romanesque windows and round bastions. It recycles an improved and modified version of the tower of my cathedral as well :) .

Well, Christmas is coming up, so I decided to do a nativity build. I've never seen one in a Lego set and thought I should make one. It would be a great addition to all your holiday decorations. This set was built with 347 bricks. There are several minifigures and animals featured in this set. There are a total of nine minifigures. There is also a baby, three horses, two pigs, a bunny, five chickens, four chicks, and three eggs. Also, the whole top floor can be taken off for easy access to the first floor. It took me several hours on this over a course of three days. Anyways, I am pleased with the final build. Hope you like it! :D

The Lego goat became a rare element for a few years. Once Lego produced a collectable minifig of the goatherd I decided to build him a tranquil farm to live on.

There are a few stories added to the model for intrest and intrigue

This tree is super solid. Can you guess how I built it this way? My first attempt took about three weeks and then totally fell apart. Three months later I had a solid build. I made two different sizes. One super big and the other large. The smaller one is up on Lego ideas so please go VOTE for it there.
