Having spent quite some time on the Dotonbori food street in Osaka, Japan, and having had little success in getting a decent selfie- I really suck at those- I eventually managed to get someone from the crowd to take a picture of me on the Dotonbori food street. Well, don't ask me how I restaurants with large 3-D signs atop their doorway- we have already seen a few earlier in this album. (see previous pictures). In the background is one more of the famous 3-D restaurant signs- a giant moving crab, called the Kani Douraku crab. Right next to me is another tourist distracted by another of the giant 3-D signs elsewhere on the Dotonbori food street. Dazzling neon on the foot bridge for entering the Phuket FantaSea. The absolutely grand and dazzling show aside, where photography is strictly prohibited due to use of pyrotechnics, sound and visual effects and use of several animals (yes, all indoors, including the pyrotechnics), the Phuket FantaSea is an overdose of color, lighting and razzle dazzle. This neon extravaganza is on a small bridge at the entrance. Although the show in the auditorium is nothing short of superlative, to say the least, with sadly no photography allowed inside- everything else about the Phuket FantaSea is all about show, opulence sparkle, glitz an glamour.
