Major regulation changes coming next season makes this year something of the end of an era. As has happened previous seasons before big changes, the grid is pretty lean.
Toyota is still scaling the steep part of the prototype learning curve. Outwardly, the ’13 TS030 appears as a subtle evolution, but the lessons learned over the last year have lead to many changes including a new monocoque chassis as well as optimized aero.
Following the hybrid-powered R18 e-tron’s victory in 2012, Audi runs a three-car team of e-tron hybrid R18s. While the cars appear little-changed from 2012’s successful machine, the engineers do hide a few tricks in the gray areas of some technical regulations.
After a succession of near-wins and a long run of bad luck, Henri Pescarolo’s team succumbs to financial difficulties and are dissolved.
Lola has gone out of business, too, which this leaves Rebellion running the last of the B12-60’s evolution.
Thanks to the performance balances in the regulations, Rebellion’s Lolas and Strakka’s HPD ARX-03 are able to mix it up with the big hybrid cars, up to a point.
Oreca continues to run Toyota’s race operations, and as part of the deal, don’t directly field any of their own cars. A brace of customers run the Oreca “03” in the LM2 class.
The early moments of the race took a dark turn with Dutchman Allan Simonsen's fatal crash. The race wound on in a closely-contested battle between Audi and Toyota, as well as against the elements (rain) and other crashes. Rebellion were solidly in the mix until the latter part of the race where mechanical issues and a crash set the team well back. Strakka’s HPD ARX-03c finished several laps behind the last of the Audi vs Toyota group, best of the Privateer LMP1 cars. Audi win by running a perfect race - no time in the garage or off track, efficient pit stops, and good driving.Tom Kristensen dedicates this victory, his 9th win, to countryman Simonsen.
Porsche confirms they are returning to top-tier prototypes in 2014 to compete directly against sister-company Audi. Audi and Toyota are expected to roll out new cars to the new regulations, and with Lola out of business, Rebellion will partner with Oreca to design and build their own LMP1 car. The close racing suggests that the FIA and the ACO have found the right balance of performance through the regulations, so the next era of LMP should be a good one.

Il concerto si è svolto all'interno del Parco Sempione a Milano. Il "palco" al centro di grande prato. I musicisti, collocati su 3 piani suonavano di profilo in modo da non voltare le spalle agli spettatori. Magia

Bateau-feu anciennement baptisé Osprey, il fut construit à Dartmouth (Royaume-Uni) par le Chantier Philips & Son et lancé le 24 mai 1955. Il fut un des derniers light ships irlandais mis en service. Déplacement 540 t. Longueur 48 mètres. Aujourd'hui transformé en bar-restaurant (source Wikipédia).
Lightship formerly called Osprey, it was built in Dartmouth (UK) by the Philips & Son Shipyard and launched on 24 May 1955. It was one of the last Irish light ships commissioned. Displacement 540 t. Length 48 meters. Now a bar-restaurant.

J'ai ajouté ce personnage qui s'intégrait selon moi, assez bien dans ce brouillard...
Ci-git contre ce banc un jouet abandonné, une marionette.
Le jouet a certainement été beau, a plu à l'enfant.
A force d'être touché, tripoté, laissé par terre, il a perdu sa couleur d'abord.
Puis de plus en plus vite, peu soigné, ses vêtements se sont déchirés; il s'est vite usé, jusqu'a être rejeté dans la nature.
Quelqu'un l'aura retrouvé et déposé contre ce banc.
Il est parfait avec son sourire triste.
