Each year the City of Kitchener, along with our local partners, plants the seed with residents and businesses, encouraging them to take pride in and contribute to the city's visual appeal by beautifying their property through gardening. Those who go above and beyond to 'pretty our city' may be nominated for recognition by the Kitchener in Bloom Recognition Program.
Best thing about these cabinet doors is that I can stick a recipe in there and it's right where I need it to be to read it.
Under that window was the freezer.
The walls were pine panelled.
The floor was fake wooden parquet.
I am tired and scared.
Previously the right-hand wall had neither a worktop nor cupboards. I don't know how previous owners managed. I rerouted the water pipes over to the far right and painted them silver.
The fabric samples are for the roman shades and I haven't found the perfect fabric yet. The cabinet next to the fridge space will have a soapstone countertop and the microwave will set on the shelf above the countertop. The next space is the pantry - two doors on top and two doors on bottom. The longer green top cabinets will have glass in the doors. The countertop will be soapstone, and this is my coffee bar! No water there, though.
The Sink faces the garden, offering a fantastic view while the lady of the house whips up a storm in this kitchen.
