We've a storage-challenged kitchen when it comes to places for the recycling. One day I noticed a nail on the back of the door that leads to the basement and a light bulb went on over my head. I used things I had around to make this recycling bag: a wire clothes hanger, hemp fabric, vintage buttons, a small scrap of fabric (from which I made the bias tape) and grommets for the gathered bottom closure. I bought the jute cord for $ .50/5 yards. Woo!
