Kitchen cabonets and "Smeg" fridge is hand made by me. "Smeg" is still in progress because the hinges give me trouble. If I don't get it work I will glue the doors closed.
a feature in our kitchen of a couple of shelves that are lighting boxes. after trying out jugs, pottery and the like we decided they look best with toys on!
I happened to behaving a clean up of random draws in the kitchen I found some colourful vintage and modern items.
Well it only took three months (asbestos tile abatement was part of that), but the kitchen and dining room are redone after an unknown and obviously long-term ice maker water line leak. It's interesting how insurance covers things (they didn't pay for new cabinets but paid for the restoration company to take the old fronts off, build new boxes, and then attach the old fronts to the new box).
Pictures of the painting I'm doing in the kitchen. The old colors were there when I moved in (especially the hideous green cabinets) and the room always looked grungy, even when it was spic and span. So I chose some bright and cheery colors for the room. It's not the remodeling that I'd really like to do, but it will make the room more fun to hang out and cook in.
Recently renovated kitchen includes new granite countertops, repainted walls and cupboards, new stainless steel appliances, Jenair downdraft gas stove and grill, and new tile flooring. Facing the back of the house, the sunroom has direct sunlight through most of the day till sunset with a new stainless steel chandelier.

This clifftop memorial tower commemorates the death of Field Marshal the Lord Kitchener, whose ship went down just off this spot in 1916.
