We needed a custom sized kitchen island... Once we made it out of pallets we needed a custom stool to match it!

I have terrible eyesight, so manual focusing is tough for me. I photographed the tap through a slotted spatula for the practise.

Kitchen cabonets and "Smeg" fridge is hand made by me. "Smeg" is still in progress because the hinges give me trouble. If I don't get it work I will glue the doors closed.
New underfloor heating, new screed and tiles, new plaster to walls, re-wired, re-plumbed, walls removed, chimney removed, new RSJ's, new double doors and side lights to form patio set, re-wired for 20 downlights and 8 unit lights. Aga replumbed new fire valves etc, hob running on LPG and new units with complimentary Zimbabwe Granite tops.
these cabinets are the originals from 1926. After moving in, we have totally clogged up the frighteningly minimal coutertops will all kinds of groovy items. This kitchen is slated for complete demo in the next 12 months.

Pictures of the painting I'm doing in the kitchen. The old colors were there when I moved in (especially the hideous green cabinets) and the room always looked grungy, even when it was spic and span. So I chose some bright and cheery colors for the room. It's not the remodeling that I'd really like to do, but it will make the room more fun to hang out and cook in.
