At this year’s Flower & Garden Festival Kermit is doing his best to practice social distancing from Miss Piggy. He chooses to wave from a distance with a quick means of escape.

How’d you do with these CMFs?
I think it took me 5 orders from Amazon (US) to get the second half of the figures- very bad luck. (I could feel through bags, so I didn’t open anything further then the box’s tape seal and returned as necessary). As opposed to my Marvel CMF order, which was 2/2.
This might be the last CMF series for me with a price hike and paper packaging imminent. Unless they do more Marvel, of course.
These goofy figures are great. I plan on spreading them throughout the modulars

Perspective is everything. From this angle, it looks like Kermit is talking non-stop to the Pink Panther, who never spoke in his cartoons and it shows in the way the head is drooping. And with his right arm hooked on the side view mirror, he appears helpless, having to endure what appears to be Kermit's incessant ranting.
When I took the photo from this position, it looks like an odd display of two large stuffed toys, these being Kermit the Frog and the Pink Panther. I could understand putting Kermit inside the car, but I didn't get the Pink Panther seated outside, but looking like it was hanging on for dear life with the side view mirror. I didn't even bother to take note of the car they were in (or on).
"Doc, this thing out there ... would you look it up in your computer?"
"Yes. No. It is not listed here under 'known objects' ..."
"Look under 'UNknown objects."
"How could it be in that computer if it is unknown?"
"There are some things even pigs don't know."

Beautiful bright colors abound wherever you look during the
annual Flower and Garden Festival, held every March-May.
It features fantastic gardens and amazing Disney topiary.
Could not have been a more beautiful day! Come and visit!
The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, inaugurated in 1994, uses specially themed floral displays throughout the park, including topiary sculptures of Disney characters. Guests can meet gardening experts and learn new ideas they can use in their own home gardens. As part of the amazing Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebrations in 2023, the 19th annual event is scheduled for March 1, with an extended run of two months, leading up to July 5. Each event takes more than a full year to plan and more than 20,000
cast member hours. Just a joy to behold annually in Central Florida.
Mommy, who's Kermit, the frog? Is he that scary-face annoying thing that sings Axel F?

Muppets Take Manhattan was playing in the background on tv. When I looked up, I saw this and knew I had to sketch it.
This morning I was high above the Macy's Day Parade along 6th Avenue.

We went to the Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, DC, today. It was so windy that Kermit the Frog almost blew away before the parade even started. It was also more crowded than I have ever seen. It was still a fun day out and the parade was great!

"Hi Ho, Kermit the Frog Here"
When I was in college we were lucky enough to have Frank Oz come and give a lecture my freshman year. I think more people came to that lecture than any other lecture in my 4 years at CalArts.
Frank Oz, to my knowledge, did not puppeteer Kermit and he did not bring Kermit to the lecture.
I would have loved to have been a puppeteer, but my puppeteering eye/hand coordination skills are sorely lacking.
This little Kermit I found in Landgraaf. Hidden among the grass.
Kermit the Frog Quote:
"When you decide what your Big Dream is, you’ll be bursting with enthusiasm and want to share it with everybody. Most everybody will give you one of those ‘OK, that’s nice, now please pass the ketchup’ looks. Some will scoff, suggesting that whatever your Big Dream is, it’s too big for you. And a select few will whisper words of encouragement. My advice is this: Pass the ketchup. Ignore the scoffers. And remember those words of encouragement ‘cause they’re the only ones that matter."
So little one ... dream big!
Marsh Frog.

My first attempt at a facedown shot. I was at a friends house and saw the big Kermit and knew I had to do a face down with him. All my friends thought I was a little nutty to do this, but at least I provided them with a laugh. I was going to try and get all 7 toddlers to do it with me but I think I would have a better chance at winning the lottery. :)

Let's head over to the Disney Hollywood Studios for a shot of Muppet Vision 3-D. This is such a great area to photograph. It's especially great when it's decorated for Christmas. What is your favorite area of The Disney Hollywood Studios to photograph during the Holidays? Have a great weekend.
Doll, action figure, toy... whatever.

Week 10 / 1990's
52 Weeks of Pix
In 1990 we lost Jim Henson, an American puppeteer, screenwriter, director and producer. He created the beloved and most famous Muppet creation, Kermit the frog. The Muppets were the crux of multiple television series and films that continued throughout the 90's, and still today.
Hi and Welcome back to the Walt Disney World Top 30 Must Sees. The countdown that focuses on the top 30 things that Sarah and I are looking forward to doing on our August trip to Walt Disney World.
Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios is our next stop, where we have an attraction with as more laughs than one of Fozzi's shows. This is a visionary attraction that has incredible depth. MuppetVision in 3D, to be precise!
MuppetVision 3D is next on the countdown, and Sarah and I cannot wait to experience this again. From its overflow queue (ever seen it?) to the preshow area to the main show itself, MuppetVision has it all! While I generally like the Muppets because I am intriguied both by puppets and by talking cartoon animals, Sarah informs me that the Muppets have a biting comedic wit that is unparalleled. I'm not sure what that means, but I think she's insinuating that they're funny! So to is their attraction. MuppetVision has some excellent depth and gags--and the show building takes "Disney Details" to the next level. Another reason we look forward to the attraction is because it is one of the few things at Disney's Hollywood Studios that doesn't typically have lengthy wait times while we are there. If that isn't enough, the attraction has an orchestra of penguins, and even the Big Cheese himself, Mickey the...Rat...makes an appearance! Its an attraction so undeniably entertaining that even Statler and Waldorf crack a smile! We don't even harbor resentment against Gonzo the Great for lending his voice to annoying Figment (version 3 of the attraction) over in EPCOT.
Now if only they would build that Great Muppet Movie Ride...
