This Kermit talks and sings. He sits on a shelf in my closet. Gracie knows this and will stand on her hind legs and whine until I make Kermit sing his little song. Then she sits and listens until he is done. Bella runs away.

The handsome Duomo of Como took almost four centuries to build (from 1396 to 1770). The result is magnificent. And the sculptures of the exterior - from an ornate sundial to the statues of the Plinys and many sacred scenes - are amazing. For this Frog one of whose heroes is Kermit it was especially gratifying to see his bicycle and also a forebear, headless, sculpted hunting a butterfly in this ornate doorway (see inset).
A crazy day so a crazy photo..... crazy/busy what with trying to prepare to go to London ( business , not pleasure - sort of) and with Huw trying to find time to repair and treat some garden fences. In a moment of madness, I put old Kermit the Frog here on one of them . I thought that when he'd see it I'd get that 'rolls eyes' kind of look but on the contrary he laughed out loud. Phew!
Nothing exciting... cleaning house, doing laundry and catching up with friends.
Just hanging out in another t-shirt... this one makes me smile ... who doesn't love Kermit the Frog?
Didn't like this picture because the hair fell down in it and that wrinkle by Kermits feet... Plus It makes me wanna ask... "Does this shirt make me look fat? or is it just me?"

When I drove past this festive holiday display the other night I knew I'd have to grab my camera and swing back by to try and capture how cool it is. It definitely wins for originality!
This toy box cake was made for a christening. It was based on a previous toy box I've made, but bigger. So, I've added more toys. It was 20" long x 10 inch wide x 18 inch high.
Toy box was made with 2, 10 inch square cakes and 2 dummies. Had to use styro balls for the head and body to keep them light. Lid was made of cardboard, covered with icing.
Customer was really happy with the cake :)

The Folklore collected by the brothers, who were academics;, philologists, and cultural researchers How do we look at Grimm's fairy tales now as compared to what the collected works originally translated to as published in 19th century?. . ( Es War Einmal) The Frog explains the cultural and historical significance of the sometimes brutal and violent stories collected by the brothers. Many enduring stories, are changed for more modern readers and viewers. Sometimes there are very shocking differences compared to the original translation for us !
"Once upon a time" ! Good luck, Kermit ! Now, Muppet philosophy tells us that we are either chaos Muppets or order Muppets. Simply put, we don't want to mess up the crazy mix, or we get no cookies.

While processing this shot a song called "Watching Me Watching You" by a band called We Are Smug came on. I had a laugh to myself at the time and thought BRILLIANT!!!! The name suites this picture perfectly as i was peering in on him and he was also glaring back at me.
We Are Smug is the name for the collaboration between singer-songwriter Darren Hayes (Savage Garden) and producer Robert Conley.
This was a side project Darren decided to do for a bit of fun while in between his own solo records.
The electropop duo released their album free of charge.

Happy bokeh Wednesday hangover! I don't know what was in this cocktail, but I'm glad I wasn't drinking it..it made me green just looking at it!(Ithink it's called a Kermit) Have a wonderful Thursday!
