I walked further down and got this shot of the studio entrance. Even Kermit has a Chaplinesque look about him. Also, check out the door to the right of the gate.
Green is my favorite color. Every room in my house has some green in it, I try to surround myself in it. I would absolutely never confess that green became my favorite color the first time I heard Kermit the Frog sing his trademark song on Seasame Street. It just struck me as so sad, and yet so hopeful at the same time. A longing to be something else, combined with a quiet acceptance of his own strength and beauty.

Come Springtime there will be many new additions to the Social Columns and profuse amendments to Living Wills. However, not all offspring will make it into Dalton. Such is life in this harsh and unforgiving environment.

Bob will be on the next season of "Celebrity Rehab - The Animated Children's Stars starring Dr. Drew Pinsky" along with PeeWee Herman (Meth), Spencer "Buzz" Lightyear (Freebase), Amber Smith (not a children's star but appears in everything Dr. Drew does), Phineas & Ferb (Crack & Heroin, respectively) and Tracy Morgan (Whatever You're Holding).
Kermit the Frog gets sloshed and sings "The Rainbow Connection." I recorded it on my voice recorder, and it it worth listening to.
I purposefully didn't clip it so you could hear the banter between the professional piano singer (Katy Stephan, the lovely redhead) and the eccentric patron who, while distinctly homosexual, seems to have a huge crush on her which he expresses through Kermit. This appears to be a weekly thing. If you can't pick up the conversation, she very clearly is disturbed by the Kermit situation, but being a good performer (minimally) disguises her uncomfort and goes on with the show.

Kermit says, "It's Not Easy Being Green"
Kermit may be thinking that it isn't a good time to be a frog, as our area of the state is experiencing a major drought!
As I look out at our farm pond today, I'd go as far to say that this drought may be a KILLER, if you happen to be a Fish, Bullfrog or Pond Turtle!
Despite Winter temperatures being colder than normal and on average, with precipitation and snowfall a bit above normal in Oklahoma, most of the state remains in “severe,” “extreme” or “exceptional” drought status. Farm ponds throughout central and western Oklahoma are dry for the first time in decades; lake levels have plummeted. Some cities have enacted mandatory water restrictions, such as assigning lawn-watering days. State and local officials have urged people to conserve water, publicizing ways to do so.
There a few things that we can do so that Kermit can REMAIN GREEN...and so that we can ALL GO GREEN, too!
Water conservation tips for Oklahomans:
• Fix leaks. An American home can waste, on average, more than 10,000 gallons of water every year due to running toilets, dripping faucets, and other household leaks.
• Turn off the tap while shaving or brushing teeth.
• Install a low-flow shower head.
• Install a low-volume flush toilet.
• Plug the sink or use a washbasin if washing dishes by hand.
• Use a dishwasher and make sure it is fully loaded.
• Thaw food in the refrigerator overnight rather than using hot water from the tap.
• Wash only full loads of laundry or use the washing machine's appropriate water level or load size selection.
• Don't overwater lawns. Water lawns between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. to reduce evaporation.
• Use a broom, rather than a hose, to clean driveways, sidewalks and porches.

Etienne Delessert's singular interpretation of Kermit the Frog's anthem "Bein' Green" by Joe Raposo. Released by Golden Books in 1973, the book measures 12.5'' x 9.375''. Since those dimensions exceed my scanner size, each of these images is comprised of four separate scans put together in Paint. According to the author bios, an animated version of this book aired on Sesame Street with vocals by Frank Sinatra.

Uh-oh. It seems like the three bullying orphans are at it again! One of them is Eating Jiminy Cricket Alive! And Kermit the Frog is Very Angry at the Orphans for Hurting Poor Fievel Mousekewitz. But thankfully his friend Tony Toponi comes to his rescue, and berates the orphans for picking on Fievel ("So ya like picking on little ones, huh? Well, how about picking on one my size?!").

The Crime Scene Photographer took one last picture of the victim before heading back to the lab. Crime is on the rise again in New York now that the economy is tanking. Police believe that this may have been a targeted hit and not a random robbery as the victim still had her backpack and all of its contents. There were no witnesses and police said that Backup isn't talking other than to say "I ain't a snitch".
