The waves were big and these guys were really going for it. National Kayak Competition was on I think.
Taken from the Rabbit Creek Bridge. I have thought about buying a kayak and seeing what is out there that I could photograph. That kayak is the type I would buy if I bought one but it is hurricane season and I want to hold on to as much money as possible just in case.
Another trek with Matt. This time along the east side of the lower Susquehanna river in fall 2014. These pics will be the last I post from my Olympus E-510 as it finally decided it had had enough.

Kayaking down the recreational side at the kayak park, sometimes you make it, other times you have problems, but as long as you make it to the bottom in one piece its all good.
Kayaking around Santee Lakes, not for swimming, but paddle boats, kayaks and canoes can be rented, wildlife is abundant!

La Getaria-Donostia es la prueba decana de las travesías de kayak de mar del Estado. Su primera edición se celebró en 1978.
Es una exigente prueba de piragüismo en mar abierto, de 9 millas náuticas (16km aprox.) de longitud, muy condicionada por el estado de la mar, que nos da la oportunidad de disfrutar, desde otra perspectiva, de la zona de costa entre Getaria y San Sebastián (Zarautz, Orio, Igeldo...).
