Saturday's kayak clinic with OKC Kayak and Jackson Kayak. JACKSON KAYAK, OKC KAYAK, TULSA KAYAK, and the OKC BOATHOUSE FOUNDATION sponsored the FREE CLINICS at OKC RIVERSPORT RAPIDS, with the inventor of the whitewater playboating move, "The Loop." Clay Wright has over 11 first descents in five countries of some of the toughest creekboating the world has to offer. He has been featured in over 50 instructional and extreme kayaking films, and is a seven time member of the US freestyle team with three gold and two silver medals. Beyond all his accomplishments, this paddler and his co-instructor, Colin Kemp, (head of WORLD KAYAK) are arguably the best in the world at teaching whitewater kayaking, and identifying what is holding you back. In addition to the two days of clinics for all skill levels, Colin Kemp and Curtis Semler hostied a World KAYAK hometown throwdown competition. This extreme boatercross event ll featured local paddlers launching from a ramp, going head to head, completing challenges along the course for their chance at prizes.

a kayakers view is a simplistic one,
one full of nature,
tranquility and stillness,
a kayakers view is more than meets the eye,
theres always something to look at,
and look for,
something new to discover,
out of all the views you can have,
gimme me a kayakers view,
that will make me totally new.
