Last week, my friend and kayak buddy John called and asked if I wanted to get up and photograph the sunrise with him.

I said, "Heck no."

Of course, he won out and Cotton and I met him on the Alljoy boat landing on the May River in Bluffton and we took off into the early morning darkness.
