I forgot I had this set. This one was taken when I was playing with a new lens, the Olympus 50mm f2.0 and is my son Kai when he was about 9 years old.

About
On the 17th of may 2009 a baby elephant was born in the Antwerp Zoo, after a public contest to give the baby girl a name, the little elephant was given the name 'Kai-Mook', meaning 'Pearl'.
Me and my daughters went to the Zoo last Tuesday, taking a descent picture of the cute little one was not easy, since hundreds of people all wanted a first row place to be able to view this adorable new born. I took 23 shots of the elephants using my old 85-300mm lens which hasn't got image stabilization...
This is the best shot from the baby I got.

The image is a blend of a single shot HDR and a normal RAW processed image.

角板山行館 JiaoBanShan Official Residence 位於大溪東南方、桃園縣復興鄉的介壽國小旁，原作為老總統蔣中正先生之行館，館內展出蔣公生前文物、舊照片、紀錄片，還有蔣介石在角板山時的生活資料。賓館內有大片梅園，是北台灣主要的賞梅風景區，因為空氣清新涼爽，有台灣廬山之稱。園內有樟腦收納所Camphor Collection Station、文物特展館Cultural or historicalrelics exhibtion、人工湖的生態池Ecological Pond、蔣公行館Chung Kai-Shek Official Residence、節點平台Node Platform、觀景台Observation及思親亭Siqin Pavilion等處，園區擺設十餘件來國內外藝術名的雕塑品，成為創作戶外公共藝術的國際雕塑公園。行館最神秘的戰備隧道War Preparedness Tunnel全程長100公尺，寬4公尺，高3公尺，當年為緊急避難與戰備指揮之用，厚實的防彈鋼門及牢固的防爆出口，可體驗舊品味昔時戰備情境。
梅台思親‧思親亭 Siqin Pavilion
思親亭位於桃園縣復興鄉的角板山行館內，昔時老總統蔣介石先生到行館時皆會散步至此，欣賞有如故鄉的山水美景，1975年逝世時，蔣經國先生在居喪期間，經常由慈湖到此停留，俯瞰溪口台地追思親恩，也就在這涼亭裡寫下了許多情感流露的文章，後來集結成〝梅臺思親〞為書名發表，同年度將此亭命名為思親亭。
溪口台地
溪口台地為大漢溪流經桃園縣復興鄉角板山南面時，因河道大幅轉彎而形成的三角形台地，呈現四層台階，上兩層為梯田，下兩層為草坪，第三層闢建有小公園，是地理教學的極佳場所。由角板山的思親亭可眺望台地景觀，若經角板山公園下的步道台階，至溪口吊橋亦可抵達，近距離親覽大漢溪河谷風光及優美的山林景色。

We are enjoying a sensationally long hot summer here in NZ and this pic shows one of our most cherished privileges, that of finding beaches free of crowds where we can pick food straight out of the sea and eat it.
