Toko Kai Hing was de eerste lokale winkel die in 1975 in Ganzenhoef was geopend. Ruim acht jaar geleden nam zoon Ramon Toko Kai Hing over van zijn vader. Dit was geen verrassing omdat de van origine Surinaamse Ramon al van jongs af aan in de winkel stond om mee te helpen.

Toko Kai Hing is ‘De winkel van Sinkel’ in Amsterdam Zuidoost. Je kunt er terecht voor levensmiddelen, groenten, een broodje of een maaltijd, maar ook voor een geurtje, huis, tuin en keuken middelen en medicijnen.

So clearly I am falling behind on my 52 week project. At this rate it'll be more like an every-other-week project. In any case, this week I was lucky enough to get a shot of Kai, a super cool kid in my neighborhood. This was taken just after sunset in the alley with my relatively new YN-560 II in a Wescott Rapid 26" Octa Softbox using Pixel King ETTL wireless triggers. I'm totally loving the soft box!

Gamma Ray è il nome di un gruppo musicale power metal tedesco, fondato nel 1989 dal chitarrista e cantante Kai Hansen dopo la sua uscita dagli Helloween.

Nel 1988, dopo aver fatto i primi tre album con gli Helloween (Walls of Jericho e i primi due Keeper of the Seven Keys), il chitarrista e compositore Kai Hansen decise di lasciare la band. Il motivo di tale decisione è stata la diversità di idee circa l'evoluzione del gruppo avute con l'allora cantante Michael Kiske. Inizialmente aiutò i Blind Guardian nella realizzazione di alcuni lavori in studio. Infine decise di dare vita ad un suo progetto con il suo vecchio amico Ralf Scheepers (cantante) e con Uwe Wessel (bassista) e Mathias Burchardt (batterista). I Gamma Ray erano nati e senza sorpresa da parte di nessuno, il loro sound era molto vicino a quello degli Helloween.
