A Kai themed MOC has been on my to-build list for a long time! Originally, I was thinking about doing an ordinary studs-up vignette, with scenes in corners all around a central core, but that didn't seem very photogenic. I've built a couple smaller scrolls before, but I've always wanted to do a really good larger one! Not sure I quite achieved that goal, but I am very happy with the two smaller scenes here and with the overall look.

As part of the Elemental Empire, Kai commands a squadron of elite Fighters against the Serpentine Rebellion.

This is something I've wanted to build for a very long time, and is based off of the amazing art of @jakeparker - Not only is his Art fantastic, but Mr. Parker actually started #inktober - which I think was actually what prompted our copycat LEGO build Theme months that we have ever year... So thank you mr. Parker, for not just an inspiring piece of work, but inspiring years of theme-months build challenges!

I actually forgot to post this, but originally this was for:

Day 6 and the last build for @rebellug 24 hour LEGO bud challenge Vignweek - today's theme was combine two LEGO themes: in this case, LEGO Starwars and Ninjago. I deviated a bit from the original art work adding in a bit more Samurai armour to better fit the Ninjago theme. As much fun as it would have been to have uber greebly arms...

Thank you everyone for the support during this ummm... interesting week - thank you especially to QuestBuddies, all the people on discord, of course RebelLUG and judges. it's been a hella of a week.

Locals walking along the rail line make way for Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) GE U15B Locomotive BB2037805, as it crosses over the Klambir Lima river/creek into the boundries of Greater Medan, on U75 passenger train from Binjai to Medan.

Interestingly, there are plans to build an elevated railway the full 21km length of the line. Similar to the Kuala Namu airport line, with a bold vision for extra stations and a "15-30 minute interval" between trains, beating the only 10 daily services between Medan and Binjai. However, progress seems a little stalled, with only a small portion of viaduct actually visibly under construction near Central Medan.
