Tonight's attempt: a variation on Kai Sen Udon. This worked a treat. Udon noodles, prawns, scallops, bamboo shoots, garlic, pak choi, spring onions, shredded crabsticks. Sauce made from vegetable oil, sesame oil, water, cornflour, salt, sugar, soy, and a good wallop of saki.

Kai is one amazing little kid, at just over 12 years old he is one top shot.
Even if his shotgun is almost as long as he is tall.
I give great credit to such a youngster who is able to have such great concentration and keep his cool under the pressures of competition against competitors 50 and nearly 60 years his senior.
With him being able to take out 2nd place in his grade was an outstanding effort for such a young shooter shows that he "IS" the future of our sport.
Young Kai has the spotlight on him,And the weight of this great sport leaning on young kids like him to keep the sport growing.
Even tho he is small in size he was able to hold up strong against all that pressure.

He's been home for more than one year and a half now..but he was far from being complete :P
Finally last week I made his wig..and I spent yesterday and today sewing his shirt and gilet..
I'm quite happy even if he doesn't look exactly like the original one...

This was the small fire station located at the 31 end of Kai Tak's single runway. Still here today 15 years after the airport closed but not seen and fire department activity in those 15 years....
