In combining playful and practical, Kai-Uwe Bergmann's Copenhagen-based architecture firm BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) has created courageous and provocative architecture all around the world. My new Kai Shun Santoku. Santoku loosely translates to "3 merits" which is a reference to the three cutting tasks the knife performs so well: slicing, dicing, and mincing.
Manufactured by Kershaw Knives (KAI) is a stunning and beautiful breed of kitchen cutlery. Each Shun Classic knife features the look and benefits of Damascus steel, without its rusting problems. The Damascus-look blade profile reduces sticking and results in less food damage and faster food prep available in a PakkaWood handle.
