They have been worshiped as the safe sea and prosperity of fishery deity,
and from ancient times, an abundant harvests,a prosperous business at large,an easy delivery of ａbaby and traffic safty at large.

We've just arrived home from an amazing camping trip up at Kai Iwi Lakes. We used to camp there from when we were tiny, an incredible place with crystal clear blue waters – a tropical landscape with cool water
This image is looking West, and you can see some freshwater crayfish/kōura. I've never seen so many in the shallows before, so good to see their population increasing.
My Kaily spotted our very First butterfly for the year. I can't wait till we start seeing more around...yea! But this one here stood still for exactly one shot and then he was gone..he was on a great thistle and I wish I could have gotten to the other side, but hey..I got one shot..lol.

KAI IWI BEACH 14kms west of Whanganui.
Here there are picnic tables, large area of lawn and shade, and wood-burner BBQ facilities for you to enjoy with family and friends!
You can swim, fish, laze in the sun, go for long walks and pick through the driftwood
This is also a popular spot for photographers wishing to capture stunning images of cliffs against the sea, eerie driftwood shapes and vibrant sunsets over the Tasman Sea.
It has a fantastic children’s playground, complete with a flying fox over a stream, pirate climbing ship, and more… There is a large toilet block with changing rooms, cold water showers, and wood burning BBQ’s as well.There is also a well-established motor camp!

I just got this outfit and I looooove it! It was getting dark so I didn't have time to style his hair properly or iron the sleeves or learn how to tie the cravat, and now I notice I also forgot to hang the shoulder braid the way it's supposed to go - but still! I couldn't not share this. I can't believe it fits so well! It's actually an EID outfit, because who makes outfits just for 5th Motif Timeless body with its weirdass measurements, but aside from the sleeves being a little short (this style of uniform should have sleeves hang down almost to the knuckle, but on the Timeless body's crazy monkey arms it falls to just past the wrist), and perhaps a little looseness at the waist, it fits beautifully. Well, ok, so there is one more issue; the Timeless body is rather overgenerously endowed by dolly standards and resin junk can't exactly be tucked so it's just... it's very apparent. But I figure some would consider that a plus. ;)
I purchased this outfit secondhand, but it is sold by SartoriaJ on etsy. I'm very impressed by the quality and will definitely consider buying more of her clothing in the future.
As a side note - I've not often considered dolls' "characters" or stories or whatnot, but I have to admit the more I look at Kai the more I think there is something to it. He always looks bored and... calculating, kind of, like he's lost in his thoughts, and they are not particularly nice thoughts heh.
This Shiden Kai was deployed on July 24, 1945, and never returned, sinking into the sea. In November 1978, it was accidentally discovered by a local fisherman and later salvaged. It is now displayed in a restored state that preserves its condition as closely as possible to the time it ditched and sank.
