Jenners a retail institution that has seen better times - it's been shut for a while wonder if it will ever be brought back to life. From a great weekend in Edinburgh though I think i got a wee bit obsessed with the architecture.

Cheltenham

Jenner Gardens is a beautifully conserved historic graveyard in the heart of Cheltenham now dedicated to the pioneer of vaccination Edward Jenner (1749-1823) who once lived nearby.The garden is full of managed wild flowers and roses and there are plans for a statue of the great man in the future here. It is a true little oasis of calm and serenity and one of Cheltenham's best kept secrets.

I'm never disappointed with the sunsets on the Sonoma Coast.

The christmas tree at Jenners Department Store in Edinburgh.

Every year they have a huge tree, though I'm not sure how they get it inside.

Xmas in Edinburgh means you have to go to Jenners to see the Xmas lights and how the posh people live.

This is the final shot for the time being from my week in Edinburgh, my home town.

The hike up to the 1876m high mount Jenner was very challenging for a hiking novice like myself, but the views at the top are the best I have ever seen. This view has inspired me to challenge myself as through hard work you will eventually reach a summit and will be rewarded.
