I must be a better cook and knitter than I am a photographer. I'm OK with that. Everyone has to be good at something, right??

Not sure what plant this may be, but the new growth looks very interesting. Long Point Provincial Park.
Massive antique door bolt at San Xavier del Bac, an old Spanish mission near Tucson, Arizona that is still in use as a church.
There must have been something more interesting than me and my camera.

WEDNESDAY HE'S COMING HOME!
I'm so flippin' excited.
You have no idea.
Thanksgiving, if Aaron doesn't bother us, will be amazing.
A huge flag, because everything is bigger in America.
I thought this was an interesting building. I liked the sculptures on the upper part. Some sort of angel in the middle surrounded by what looks like tired hard workers. It was a great representation of capitalism, in my opinion.
The truth: the sculpture is named "Integrity Protecting the Works of Man" hehe
I haven't been able to identify this tree (yes, it is from a tree)
the leaves grow in a very interesting way
and seen from here, it looks like a giant pair of lips LOL
These were at a bland tourist buffet. They mostly tasted like extra-sweet sugar... kind of like gulab jamun only sweeter. The fresh fruit was nice, though.
One of the more popular cold beverages in Japan is a concoction known as "Pocari Sweat." I believe it's marketed as a sort of sport/energy drink. After eyeing these machines warily for a few days, I finally broke down and tried a can of it. Fortunately it tastes nothing like actual sweat. Rather, it has a fairly refreshing citrus taste to it. I don't usually drink pop, but I'd take it over a Sprite anyday.

I had appointments in Minehead this morning, to the north of Exmoor, after lunch I had to be in Tiverton, to the south. I could have taken the boring, snow free route. No chance!
