So....is "more interesting" a good thing? I could say that this has been an interesting week, but not an exceptionally good week. There are not enough hours in a day lately, and not enough fun in the hours, and there have been too many disappointments and a lack of motivation ....
Well, a new week begins tomorrow...and maybe it will be "more interesting." And I can only hope that that will be a good thing!

Er wird 22 bis 40 Millimeter groß. Sein Biss ist schmerzhaft, für Menschen aber komplett ungefährlich.
It grows to between 22 and 40 millimeters in length. Its bite is painful, but completely harmless to humans.
This is one interesting bird that we have only spotted at Elk Grove Park. The domestic Swan Goose came from Asia. the Swan Goose, native to eastern Eurasia and sometimes called a Chinese goose. A domestic swan goose usually has a large knob at the base of the bill (the wild form lacks this). It also can show a white patch behind the bill. It varies from wild type coloring (mostly gray with a dark line down the back of the otherwise white neck) to pure white. This species is very territorial and had no fear walking up to our dog Louie and hissing. Yes, our Louie got the message and backed off very quickly.
Yesterday we had a most "interesting" weather. I took a short walk to pick this seasons´s last(?) woodanemones. It was cold but sunny. A few minutes later when I came back to my car it was snowing, then raining. But during the rain the sky was blue.
I captured this interesting cloud over the meadows along the Gibbon River near the Norris Soldier Station in Yellowstone National Park Wyoming from a bus window.

Funny story:
is that some one at a house near by called the cops on me during this shoot,
I guess they didn't like strobes going off in the middle of the night.
But the cop was really nice about it, he said we didn't need to stop taking pictures since we did nothing wrong :)
Just after 11 am we arived at the Mohaka River Bridge....
Built in 1962, the two-lane, steel-framed Mohaka River Bridge is located in an isolated area along the Napier-Taupo Road (State Highway 5). Elevated 50 metres above water level on two reinforced-concrete piers, it stretches 215 metres across the river – providing a vital thoroughfare for freight and passenger traffic throughout the year.

This "clock" which is located on a building on Place d'Armes in Montréal is actually a fake - maybe it was a genuine one some time ago. The nicely ornate hand with the sun and moon is interesting.
