September 20, 2016 - Moorish style house located on Vicente Ramón Roca. It originally was built as a house and was turned into I believe a restaurant and it is now being restored into a house. Quito, Ecuador.

I've never seen those kind of antennae on a moth or butterfly, very interesting!

Vases in the window of Crate & Barrell, along with a few reflections.

The old Spanish fort is just across the street from the cruise terminal. Maybe next trip!

This was an interesting tree, it had a very small trunk, that twisted around as can be seen in this image.

Two spots... for when it gets busy! :-)

I'm guessing that these were xmas gifts. Some people like to crush their ipod, others seem to be confused about where the sound comes out.

This odd tree started out growing diagonally, then eventually started growing straight up. It also grew an offshoot that decided to grow straight up. Interesting!

I know next to nothing about geology but occasionally an interesting formation catches my eye.

Especially if you're thinking of Burgess' version of the phrase.

Just slightly marred by the reflection of the flourescent light from the train window.

The eastbound "CORP" QCONP (CORP/Eugene - North Platte) lumber manifest moves along the Columbia River on the Oregon side between Rowena and Crates. I am not sure if this is a new thing or not, but UP seems to be running DPU's 1/3 of the way back as seen here instead of 2/3 of the way back or on the rear as I have normally seen. The former CNW unit was a fun catch too.
