Outside of Card: Bottom right scallop 'flower' is actually inside the card - seen when card is closed... Outside just has circles.. Scalloped flowers for the other three are taped to inside of top - two sided paper, with another stamped 'circle' head.

This is how I'm going to organize myself now. STICKY NOTES.

Inside the light box are various shapes in different colours.

The RGB (red, green and blue) lightbox provides a playful insight into the relationships between colour, light and objects. As the light gradually changes from red to green to blue, you can see colour mixing in action. Inside the box there are only three different coloured sources of light - red, green and blue - which can be combined to generate all the colours in the visible spectrum of light.

Part of Breathing Colour by Hella Jongerius (June to Sept 2017)

Breathing Colour blurs the boundaries between art and design. Combining intriguing shapes with extensive research; this exhibition questions our preconceptions of colour and embraces its imperfection and experimentation.

The exhibition was divided into separate spaces that simulated daylight conditions at specific times of the day – morning, noon and evening. These three phases explored the impact of changing daylight on our perception of colour. Each installation included a series of three-dimensional objects as well as textiles, some of which are hand-woven while others are produced on industrial looms.

The building, formerly the Commonwealth Institute, was built 1960-2, designed by Robert Matthew, Johnson-Marshall and Partners. Closing in 2002, it was acquired by the Design Museum in 2008, and converted by a design team led by John Pawson.

A Night in The City with Interact <3

"Rumble Strips" are becoming increasingly popular in the design of highways: When you veer off the road, the notches in the side of the road cause your tires to make a buzzing noise that vibrates the car and, hopefully, reminds the dozing driver to wake up and drive straight.

This is, to me, a super low tech way of making a static object (the road) into an interactive interface that delivers error messages to the user when they do something wrong.

Is this interactivity? I think so.

Frederick E. Berry Library and Learning Commons Dedication Ceremony: 5.28.2014

In our fast and digital times of computers, networking and interactive mobile devices, there is only little room left, for different paces, concentration on quiet things. By utilizing old handcraft techniques such as Macrame – a knotted net using red ribbon wire –, this installation not only aims to preserve the knowledge of traditional artwork, but also the creation processes with time for talk and information exchange. By taking this individual work out of the context of private homes and placing it into public space, this project becomes a beautiful and poetical call for preserving old handwork techniques – also as an inspiring and creative resource for new structures and designs. We definitely enjoyed it !!!

RPT fuses Integrative Therapeutic Massage, Immersive Video Art, and Shared Perspective Virtual Reality to create a technologically mediated healing modality capable of inducing collective out-of-body experience. Transformative healing is possible ...

Recursion Projection Therapy integrates healing and visual arts. The practitioner creates, controls, and projects visual information, in the form of dynamic mandalas, directly onto the client during the healing session. A camera and projector are mounted above the massage table. The client is the projection screen. The camera captures the entire scene and sends the live image to helmet-mounted video displays worn by both client and practitioner.
