Installation at Davis United Methodist Church, where I work as Music Director. The doves were my design, of course, but I got a lot of help with folding and hanging them! I hadn’t done a large installation like this before, it was a lot of fun.

Custom fender installation from a article by Peter Weigle in Bicycle Quarterly, Vol. 9 No.2 Winter 2010.
I have used this article several times in fender installation. It is a ton of work, but makes the fenders so much stiffer and stronger.

Installation of the first James Webb Space Telescope primary mirror segment.

I made the video, 'Goodbye Sorrow' by creating many small drawings and watercolor paintings, scanning them into the computer, and animating them in Flash.
For the show, the animation was projected into the corner of the gallery. I also chose to display all of the drawings by kind of collaging them on the gallery wall next to the projection.

In preparation for flight hardware, engineers and technicians at NASA Goddard are installing our engineering design unit (EDU) mirror onto the pathfinder backplane. The pathfinder is a test version of the backplane, which is the spine of the telescope, supporting the mirrors and instruments. The EDU is a gold-coated flight spare mirror. Though here it has a cover on it to protect it. A robot arm is being used to move the mirror over the backplane and to aid in installation.
