One day a public toilet at the university was wallpapered with repeated images of a baby birthing. The next day, the wallpaper was gone. An unsigned note said the artist wanted men to better appreciate the relationship between sex and life.

Melbourne Fashion Week is madness and these photos wre taken of an awesome installation at the GPO building where an International Artist set up umbrellas in a beautiful display. I wish I coud remember his name....

Sean Procyk’s Macro dose is a psychoactive installation where giant mushrooms fruit from discarded mattresses. These bioluminescent fungal forms tower over spectators, emanating sonic vibrations at the threshold of human perception. This surreal encounter may induce wonder, general concern and/or amusement. While creating the work the artist was thinking about processes of migration, displacement, infestation and colonization.

Denne weekend bød på en fototur i Aarhus. En af lokationerne var Aros. I udstillingen står en installation af Olafur Eliasson, som jeg synes rigtig godt om. Den hedder "Beauty". Installationen genskaber regnbuens farver i konstellationen af lys og støvstråler af vand. Den står i et helt sort rum, og derfor er der vanskelige lysforhold især med mit "solskinsobjektiv". Samtlige fotos er uskarpe og rystede. De får alligevel plads her.

Last August, in Bruges, visitors could cross the water on his installation entitled BRUG (The Bridge) by Jarosław Kozakiewicz.
With the many bridges that span the canals in the city centre and link neighbourhoods with each other, BRUG is a contemporary interpretation with another function.
Instead of bricks and cobblestones, the artist uses metal profiles and canvas to create a bridge on which you can cross from one side of the canal to the other.

Installation of bespoke large chandelier is a unique process. Would be great to have more time to catch all of these stunning moments, so sharing just one composition...
Changing light art installation on the facade of what used to be Fraser's Department Store for many decades, now home to the Johnnie Walker Whisky Experience (not quite as good as the Jimi Hendrix Experience, of course). Paused for a moment to grab quick pics and video with my phone on a freezing winter evening, as the designs kepts changing patterns and colours on the facade, including, at one point, a giant Advent Calendar.
