Derelict Mill. This place was a time capsule and contained many of the previous occupants possessions. As we arrived late in the afternoon it was pretty gloomy inside and as usual we were against the clock.

Against my better judgement, I was persuaded to do another wedding. This is why I've not been around much, trying to get everything ready for the big day.

Back later to try to catch up with viewing and commenting but I've got quite a lot of photos to sift through!

sorrow drips to your heart through a pinhole just like a faucet that leaks and there is comfort in the sound.

i'm a happy person most of time but sad, beautiful things always attract me. and this lyric...i've never known lyrics more beautiful or unique. the song writer has this ability to put unsaid emotions that we only able to feel into words.

It's two years ago today that we lost Paddy. This date will always be a sad day for me, one I fear days and weeks in advance. His sudden death was a traumatic experience, not only for me but also for Luan and Cleo. Especially Luan suffered terribly. For weeks he seemed to lose all interest in life. Although the arrival of Fynn in the family helped him he never fully recovered from losing Paddy. Paddy was the most friendly, generous and unselfish cat I have ever known. I will always be grateful for the time I had with him although it was too short as he was only 6 years old when he passed away.

I am not alone.

Yah... it's all Depeche Mode-y again.

And y'all know how hot the PB gets. If not, there's a Widget for that which someone rad told me about a while ago (or rather when I saw a screenshot of his PB Widget-y goodness). I'm an obsessive temp. checker.

That is the blue glow of the PB on my face. And I don't know for the life of me, how to take a photo this way (on self-timer) that actually gets the whole thing in focus. Anyone know how I should set it? It tends to work if I use flash, but then it made the lights on the tree un-bokeh-ish. :P

A lot of people wondered what the interior of the Brasilia cathedral looked like, so here is the answer, the strangeness is no less inside.

I like to call this Indian Summer... It didn't turn out quite as I'd imagined it, but it's something! Made with sugarpaste and buttercream.

It's easy to see why it's such a popular sunrise spot, isn't it?

Today I used my new Nikon D300 for the first time. Tried some macro shots @home. This one was focused on the back of the droplet reflecting the inner part of the blossom.

This camera is really exciting ...

Self Portrait.

Inside a beyond massive closed factory that is likely going to be demolished. Several million square feet that was still powered, heated & patrolled by security. This place is filled with tracks, conveyors & some robotics.

Passed a tattoo studio in Old Town and went inside to take a few snaps.

I asked the guy if it hurt and everybody in the room started laughing, guess I got my answer there ;)

This is a digital work but I placed the circles one by one on a

black background. This is really a time consuming technique...
